You will be staying in fully self-contained onsite two-bedroom country cottages.
Program
The holiday will be from Tuesday to Friday. In the morning, you will participate in personalized lessons to work on the specific areas you want to improve on, whether it be ball control or horsemanship, these will be tailored to suit your requirements. In the afternoon, you will join one chukka with both professional and club players. Please note that every Friday afternoon is free time to give horses and grooms time to get ready for weekend tournaments. There are plenty of fun local activities to keep you amused, or by Friday you may just want to take some rest.
Ainsley Polo
Ainsley Polo is the creation of two brothers who share a world-renowned passion and talent for horses and polo. There is not a significant polo tournament anywhere in the world that has not had an Ainsley pony take part in that includes the International Cartier Day at Guards Polo Club in the UK, the Argentinean Open in Buenos Aires, and New Zealand's own Polo Open. Location
The holiday will take place in Pukekohe, Auckland, New Zealand. Pukekohe is a town in the Auckland Region of the North Island of New Zealand. Located at the southern edge of the Auckland Region, it is in South Auckland, between the southern shore of the Manukau Harbor and the mouth of the Waikato River. The hills of Pukekohe and nearby Bombay Hills form the natural southern limit of the Auckland region.
Just 45 minutes south of Auckland CBD, the option to sight see within Auckland is a short drive or train ride away for many bars and restaurants and the harbour for many of the offshore islands such as Waiheke famous for its vineyards. Pukekohe itself has a number of restaurants and all the conveniences needed. Drive an hour south and you will reach the world-famous Waitomo glowworm caves. So there is plenty to do a stone’s through away.

There are lots of local sites to visit and explore. Opportunities for beach rides and beach Polo at the beach farm are also available, as well as opportunities to play in club and pro teams, gap year experiences, etc.
Competition weekends
Saturday and Sunday are competition weekends with two four-chukka games. Please note teams are club teams but are flexible to include professional players at extra cost. Competition weekend prices are based on Tipperary Park Tournaments, away tournaments will incur extra costs.
