Podere Binacco
The history of Podere Binacco dates back to 1892 when the stone structure was originally built. The property sits atop a small hill surrounded by greenery, offering stunning views that stretch toward the sea of Punta Ala, just one kilometer away.
Podere Binacco boasts a large shared green space for its apartments, complete with a beautiful barbecue area for unforgettable moments of enjoyment and togetherness. This little corner of paradise, where you can feel the sea breeze, is the perfect retreat for those seeking relaxation and nature in a rustic, authentic setting.
The property consists of four spacious apartments, each equipped with modern comforts: one reserved for the owner and the other three—Lavanda, Margherita, and Papavero—available for guests. This delightful, spacious 80-square-meter apartment has been beautifully converted from the original stable of Podere Binacco.
It features an outdoor veranda equipped with a table and sun loungers, perfect for moments of peace and relaxation. Guests will also have access to a range of amenities, including a washing machine, fridge, freezer, and microwave, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay.
Program
Day 1
You will gather at the center in the afternoon after lunch. You will be assigned your horses. Then, you will embark on a 2-hour walk, which includes a loop ride. Upon returning to the center, you will be escorted to the apartments at the farmhouse, Podere Binacco. Dinner will be served at the headquarters.
Day 2
Enjoy a delicious breakfast before departing from the center. You will take scenic paths through the scrub to reach a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the sea. A planned stop at Cala Violina includes a packed lunch for approximately an hour and a half. Afterward, you will continue a loop back to the center along the same picturesque paths. Upon return, you can relax at the farmhouse before dining at a traditional local restaurant.
Day 3
Breakfast will be served on the site. Today, you will explore the woodland trails leading to Punta Ala beach, where you can enjoy a packed lunch for about an hour and a half - dedicating your day to the beauty of the sea. Plan to return to the center in the afternoon for a farewell aperitif. Dinner will be held at the headquarters, followed by breakfast provided the next morning before your departure.

Location
The location of Podere Binacco is ideal for beach lovers and cycling enthusiasts. It also serves as a strategic point for exploring the history and hinterlands of the Grosseto area, including the Metalliferous Hills, the beautiful town of Massa Marittima, Monte Amiata, and, further south, the Tuff Hills of Pitigliano, Sorano, and Sovana. Additionally, in the hamlet of Vetulonia in Castiglione della Pescaia, you’ll find one of the most important and renowned museums of Etruscan art.
