Accommodation

The travelers will rest in the Mongolian home that has been handed down for a long time. Inside the house, there will be a bed, a stove, a chair, and a table, and the bathing area will be separate.

Program

Day 1: Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, and city tour

Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's capital, you will be greeted at the airport or railway station. Depending on your arrival time, you will embark on a brief city tour, which includes visits to significant landmarks such as the Gandantegchilen Monastery, the National Museum of Mongolia, the central square, and a traditional cultural performance featuring colorful dances, the haunting melodies of the horse-headed fiddle, contortionists, and throat singers. Rest at the hotel in Ulaanbaatar

Day 2: Ride to Mörön and off the beaten roads adventure starts

Ride to Mörön, the central town of Khuvsgul province, marking the beginning of your off-the-beaten-path adventure. Upon arrival, you will meet with your transportation and explore the local market before heading north towards the Darkhad Depression, where you will spend the night surrounded by magnificent mountains and untouched nature. Camp in the Mörön.

Day 3: Drive through Darkhad Depression to Tsagaan Nuur

Continue your journey through the scenic Darkhad Depression towards Tsagaan Nuur village, nestled amidst rivers, lakes, and alpine mountains. Explore the village, which spans an area equivalent to Khuvsgul Lake. Camp near Tsagaan Nuur.

Day 4: Start riding to Baruun Taiga

Begin your horseback riding expedition to Baruun Taiga, home to reindeer herding communities. Ride through forested trails and open fields. Traverse wooded terrains and occasional open spaces, riding at a leisurely pace, with breaks to enjoy the scenery. Spend the night in tents along the way.

Day 5: The riding continues, visit reindeer families

Continue riding through rugged landscapes until you reach Baruun Taiga by late afternoon. Visit the reindeer families, learn about their lifestyle, and engage in local customs. Stay in tepees with the reindeer herders.

Day 6: Stay another day in Baruun Taiga observing the reindeer people

Spend another day in Baruun Taiga on horseback with guidance from local herders, immersing yourself in the reindeer people's lifestyle. Explore the Taiga, observe the flora and fauna, and learn about the medicinal plants used by the community.

Day 7: Riding back to the Tsagaan Nuur village and have an overnight in the tent

Bid farewell to the reindeer people and ride back to Tsagaan Nuur village. Continue riding, taking in a natural beauty. Spending the night in tents along the trail.

Day 8: Last day of the riding and ger camp

Enjoy a half-day ride through open grassy valleys before saying goodbye to your horses and equestrians. Arrive at a ger camp to relax and refresh after your adventure.

Day 9: Drive to Khuvsgul Lake

Journey to the breathtaking Khuvsgul Lake, admiring the stunning landscapes along the way. Arrive at a lakeside ger camp in the evening, where modern comforts await, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Relax by the lake. Ger camp at Khuvsgul Lake.

Day 10: Relax at Khuvsgul Lake and do some hiking - Optional horseback riding

Relax at the lake or take an optional horseback ride around the lake area and embark on a short hike in the afternoon to enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings. Ger camp at Khuvsgul Lake.

Day 11: Drive to Murun, fly back to Ulaanbaatar

Return to Murun and fly back to Ulaanbaatar, where you will be transferred to your hotel for some free time to unwind.

Day 12: Transfer to the airport or railway station

Transfer to the airport or railway station for your departure.
