The travelers will rest in the Mongolian home that has been handed down for a long time. Inside the house: There will be a bed, stove, chair and table, and the bathing area will be separate.

Program

Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar & City Tour

  • Arrival in Ulaanbaatar: Welcome to Mongolia’s capital city. After settling in, start exploring the city's cultural and historical highlights.
  • Gandantegchinlen Monastery: Visit the largest active monastery in Mongolia, known for its magnificent 26-meter high Buddha statue.
  • Sukhbaatar Square: Take a stroll around the central square, home to important statues of national heroes like Sukhbaatar and Chinggis Khan.
  • National History Museum: Dive into Mongolia's rich past, from the Mongol Empire to modern times.
  • Overnight in Ulaanbaatar.

Day 2: Wildlife in Khustain National Park

  • Drive to Khustai National Park: After breakfast, head to Khustai, home to the famed Przewalski’s wild horse, the only wild horse species left in the world.
  • Nomadic Experience: Visit a nomadic family living in traditional gers. Ride horses alongside the herders and experience their daily routines.

Day 3: Horseback Adventure in Terelj National Park

  • Travel to Terelj National Park: We go to Terelj, one of Mongolia’s most scenic national parks.
  • Horseback riding: Embark on a horseback riding tour through the park's valleys.
  • Turtle Rock and Aryapala Meditation Temple: Visit Turtle Rock, a natural formation, and ride to Aryapala Meditation Temple for stunning views and serene surroundings.
  • Overnight in Terelj ger camp.

Day 4: Chinggis Khan Equestrian Statue & Horseback Riding in the Steppe

  • Visit the Chinggis Khan Equestrian Statue: Travel to Tsonjin Boldog to see the world’s largest horse statue, standing at 40 meters tall. Climb to the top of the statue for panoramic views of the Mongolian steppe.
  • Museum Visit: Explore the museum inside the statue, featuring exhibits on Mongolian history and the legacy of Genghis Khan.
  • Return to Ulaanbaatar: Head back to the capital for an evening of relaxation and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Travel to Ugii Lake

  • Travel to Ögii Lake: Depart Ulaanbaatar for Ugii Lake, a freshwater oasis in central Mongolia.
  • Along the Lake: Fishing or birdwatching, as the lake is home to various bird species such as cranes, ducks, and swans.
  • Ger Camp Stay: Spend the night in a lakeside ger, enjoying a peaceful campfire under the stars.

Day 6: Karakorum & Erdene Zuu Monastery

  • Travel to Karakorum: Head to the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire, Karakorum, rich in history and cultural significance.
  • Erdene Zuu Monastery: Visit Mongolia’s oldest surviving Buddhist monastery, built from the ruins of the once-great Mongol capital. Wander through its beautiful temples and learn about the rise of Buddhism in Mongolia.
  • Orkhon Valley: After exploring the monastery.
  • Overnight in a Ger near Karakorum.

Day 7: Return to Ulaanbaatar & Cultural Farewell

  • Return to Ulaanbaatar: Travel back to the capital city, taking in the final views of the Mongolian steppe.
  • Free Time for Exploration: Spend the afternoon exploring local markets, buying Mongolian cashmere, or taking a walk through the Zaisan for sweeping views of Ulaanbaatar.
  • Departure: Transfer to the airport for your flight home, ending your unforgettable Mongolian adventure.
