In the heart of Anatolia, Cappadocia is an extraordinary region where nature and man have united to shape the most amazing landscape. This fairytale-like area with extraordinary rock formations, valleys, caves, and ancient churches is one of the biggest tourist attractions inviting travelers from all over the world. You don’t need to be a jockey to experience horseback riding for the first time with Cappadocia Horse Farm. Get ready to wander inside Göreme Natural Park on horseback, up and down the caves, and through the valleys!
You will be accommodated at the hotel Göreme Valley Cave House in Göreme / Cappadocia, which belongs to a ranch.
You will leave in the morning to:
After lunch in Uçhisar town, around two hours you will be climbing to Cemil Mountain. Overnight in Ibrahimpasa town. You will have dinner and shower, then sleep inside a cave.
After breakfast, you will visit:
Theodora Church in Yesiloz
Old Garin village (see fairy chimneys)
Karacaoren Village (an old small village where you can see local people and have lunch there)
Afterward, you will ride passing Urgup and Ortahisar, to see Ortahisar Castle in Meskendir Valley. Overnight in a farm, inside a cave with fairy chimney. You will then have dinner and shower.
After breakfast, you will ride to:
Red Valley (climb to sunset point)
After lunch in old Çavusin Village, you will visit:
Pasabag (see fairy chimneys)
You will then climb to White Hill to watch a sunset.
This horse riding tour will take place in Göreme National Park in Turkey. You will ride through the park to reach the Swords Valley and Girls Monastery. On the road which leads up to Göreme, there are Open Air Museum tracks that will lead to Swords valley (Kiliçlar Vadisi).
The Cappadocian Region is located in the center of the Anatolian Region of Turkey. Its valley, canyon, hills, and unusual rock formation were created as a result of the eroding rains and winds of thousands of years of the level, lava-covered plain located between the volcanic mountains Erciyes, Melendiz, and Hasan as well as its troglodyte dwellings carved out of the rock and cities dug out into underground, presents an otherworldly appearance.
You will be served daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some meals will be served during your visit to small villages. For your last dinner, Cappadocia Ranch will offer you a meal on the farm, joining everybody where you will also visit local places. All food is local, grown, and cooked here in Cappadocia. Please let Cappadocia Horse Farm know if you are a vegetarian or not.
