Horseback riding in Sacred Valley, Cusco is the best way to be along the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You'll pass through farmers villages and houses made of mudbrick with tiled roof and holding on the roof some small clay bulls and between some tiny wooden cross. So along the way, you'll see the amazing salt mine and terraces of agricultural experimentation and also some shepherds.

You will be staying in four capacity tent (four season tent): two persons per tent with plenty of spaces for backpacks during this holiday.


Day 1: Urubamba Salineras Maras Tiobamba

Chacras Travel will pick you up at 8 am from your hotel in Cusco and then you'll ride you to Sacred Valley ranch where you meet your Peruvian horses.

Afterward, you'll have some explanation about how to ride the horses by the experienced instructor, then you'll start riding the horses to Pichinccoto and have lunch along the way. Then, you'll go through the famous salt mine.

After having some tour, you'll continue for two hours of riding upway to reach the high mountains from where you can see some snowcapped mountains far away like the Chicon You'll then connect to Tiobamba for the overnight.

Day 2: Tiobamba - Cheqok - Moray - Cusco

After breakfast, you'll ride the horses from Tiobamba to Chekoq (cold pre-Inca storage) where the food has been stored by using a genius system of underground air-circulation

Afterward, you'll ride to lake Huaypo and have some lunch here with spectacular views. Then, you'll ride to Moray terraces, so this Inca site was used as an agricultural experimentation station for the development of different crop and using the climates of different ecological zones.

From here, you'll go back down to the Valley floor and arrive at the ranch and then Chacras Travel will drive you back to Cusco city and drop you off at your place.

One breakfast, two lunches, and one dinner are included. Vegetarian food is available under request. Snacks (water, chocolate, and fruits) are also included. There's also a teatime in the afternoon.
