Day 1: Sorapama Blue Lagoon Huayracmachay

You will be riding the horses from the place called Soraypampa, which is located 3850 meters above sea level. You'll start riding to the pass which is uphill for three and a half hours.

You'll ride to a pass at 4600 meters above sea level, there, you'll have options of hiking to the blue lagoon for an hour round trip without riding horses. Afterward, you'll ride the horses downhill for an hour and 45 minutes to the lunch place. You'll then ride the horses for 45 minutes to the campsite called Huayramachay located at 3800 meters above sea level.

Day 2: Huayracmachay Ccolpapama Sawayaco

After some plenty breakfast, it's time to ride the horses through the valley of the green Andes, which is the beginning of the Amazon jungle with some gentle part and downhills for 3 hours and 20 minutes.

You'll arrive at the village named Ccolpampa located at 2800 meters above sea level. After lunch, you'll hike through the beginning of the Amazon jungle for 6 hours to the second campsite named Sawayaco located at 2000 meters above sea level.

Day 3: Sawayaco Hydro-Electric Aguas Calientes Town

Wake up time at the beginning of the Amazon jungle with amazing singing birds. Then have some breakfast and afterward, you'll ride a car for an hour and 20 minutes to the Hydro-Electric train station. You'll hike for three and a half hours and through the valley of Machu Picchu, walking next to the train lines until Aguas Calientes town. You'll stay overnight in this town.

Day 4: Machupicchu Ollantaytambo Cusco

Time to wake up at 04:30 and have breakfast at your hotel by 05:00. You will be lining up for the bus up to Machu Picchu and then Chacras Travel takes you to the viewpoint.

Then, you'll have a tour for a couple hours and afterward, you ride the bus down to Aguas Calientes town. You'll have an optional lunch and then time to ride the train to Ollantaytambo for two hours. You'll then have a private transport for another two hours back to Cusco city, dropping you off at your hotel.

The horses

This holiday is located in Cusco, Peru on the way down to Machu Picchu with Andean strong horses. The horses are accustomed to the high altitude and cold weather of the Andes mountains and also they eat the type of grass that grows in these mountains. The horses are equipped with good saddles and stirrups for the comfortable trip of the customers.
