Cabins with private baths

Although the hostel is not a "party place" in the least, their two private cabins are ideal for families. A little far from the main common area, and from the other rooms. They have a double bed, a bunk bed with two beds and a single high bed, all with mosquito nets. Cabins for one to five people with private bathroom and hot shower, fans, mosquito nets, shelves, and a very nice little balcony overlooking the garden.

You will start your days with a delicious Costa Rican Breakfast.

On your second day, you will enjoy a horseback riding tour to the Madre Selva. This trail takes you through the impressive primary and secondary jungle and ends with a relaxing swim in a hidden waterfall and sandwich. Local guides, Jhonson and Faustino, are excited to show their visitors the poisonous frogs and guarantee you the observation of the 4 species that can be found here along the way

On your third day, you will enjoy a walking tour day trip to the Sirena ranger station, that takes you on a boat trip from Agujitas to the park (wet landings), during which you can see whales, dolphins, and turtles. In the park, you can explore exquisite trails with your guide on foot to find monkeys, birds, insects, tapirs, peccaries, pumas, jaguars, bull sharks, river otters, crocodiles and much more.

You will enjoy each night a delicious Costa Rican meal as well.

The Osa Peninsula is considered the last great unexplored border of Costa Rica and contains one of the largest remaining lowland rainforests in the world. This remote corner of the country hosts 2.5 percents of the biodiversity of the entire planet, in less than one million of one percent of its total area. The peninsula is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean to the west and Golfo Dulce in the East, and its coastal waters are a refuge for marine life.

The largest city on the peninsula is Puerto Jimenez, which lies to the south at the end of Highway 245 on the Golfo Dulce coast. It is an unpaved road that continues south and west of Matapalo, Carate and La Leona. Drake Bay is located northwest of the Pacific coast at the end of an unpaved road that begins at Rincon de Osa.

Traditionally, it was established for high-level adventure trips, with several luxury hotels that are among the most recognized hotels in the area. Drake Bay is developing rapidly and is very accessible to backpacker travelers. The region is now the most important tourism point of the Osa Peninsula and has unparalleled access between the three protected areas on the peninsula. It is also the only region that remains along the Pacific coast where 'ecotourism' remains predominant
