Ealing Riding School is an established London riding school with a five-star DEFRA rating. They have been welcoming riders of all abilities to the school since 1986. They currently welcome over 400 student riders every week to their three arenas, working with 40 horses. Their Gallivanters Meadow area is a place of adventure for both humans and horses with a warm barn, firepit, balancing bridges, and treehouses.

You will stay in a just refurbished fully equipped two-bedroomed 1920s Groundsman’s Cottage in the center of the riding school. Your accommodation is in a bedroom which can be booked as double or single occupancy and you will have shared use of all cottage facilities on a self-catering basis, with a welcome pack available and shops or food delivery easily accessible.

Program

Suitable for those who already have their basics and horse-confident novices over 18 years old. Suitable for gap year students and those wanting to use holidays for this passionate sport are welcome. Many will have ridden when young and wish to restart. The course runs from Monday (12:00 p.m. for arrival and induction) to Saturday (departure by 4:00 p.m.), with five days of riding including every day in private or group lessons in the arenas and daily supervised ground or stable learning.

You will have specific care of one horse and the head coach will be in charge of your progress. Your schedule will allow you time to explore the city in the afternoons or evenings. In-house TEFL teaching can be organized upon request.
