Surrounded by 2,000 hectares of natural subtropical environment, Buena Vista offers an extraordinary combination of nature and comfort which from the very first moment awakens in guests a wonderful sensation of belonging. The colonial main house, from the ends of the XIX century on 16 hectares of park, offers an excellent level of accommodation for guests in seven comfortable suites.

Program

Day 1: Introduction to Buena Vista

You will be welcomed at the Corner Terminal and taken to Estancia Buena Vista. You will have a country breakfast and take an optional nap after that. Walk through the facilities of the ranch. There you can see about 40 species of birds such as the orchard, fruit trees, vermiculture, and the farm. You will also visit the corrals where the gauchos work with the farm. Have lunch at the ranch and join the introduction to horsemanship lesson.

There is clothing available for riders. You have a choice of frame to your liking. Acclimatization to the animals in the "round pen". You will experience a short one-hour horseback ride along the path of the palm trees to have good acclimatization with the horses. You will end the day with tea, free time, and dinner.

Day 2: Estanzuela horseback riding - an authentic Estancia in production (22 kilometers)

You leave for your first destination, the corral de los chivos, passing through Mount Molina Cue. There you can see the buffaloes and cattle, continuing through an old ranch with a phenomenal Eucalyptus grove. You reach the corrals and observe the herd. Continue to the ranch bath where you can tour its facilities, near an old pond of more than 150 years old, and then continue to the pig farm to see how it is raised in the open field.

Lunch is next to an immense lagoon called "pucu" (long in Guaraní) where you can observe various species of birds. After a nap, the ride continues along the coast, continuing through the Santa Rosa pasture to the “hypy” lagoon (deep in Guaraní). You continue to the lagoon of the "carpinchos". After a full gallop, you reach the sheep paddock in the direction of the farmhouse. You will end the day with tea, free time, and dinner.

Day 3: Horseback riding to the South Estero Pucu (20 kilometers)

You will have a country breakfast and then depart to the south of the town, cross country to the Estero "Pucu". Lunch next to the Estero is usually lamb on the stake or Carrero stew. There you embark in a canoe with a guide where you can observe the autochthonous fauna and flora of Corrientes. The idea is to use a "botador" so as not to make any type of noise and thus be able to observe an incredible setting and listen to the sounds of the place.

It is possible to observe alligators, capybaras, otters, and more than 200 species of birds (such as jacanas, herons, pullets, chajaes, ducks, caracaras, etc.) also observe its flora such as camalotes, caraguatá de agua, reeds, paja brava, etc. The return to the Estancia is made between lagoons along the hacienda road. You will end the day with tea, free time, and dinner.

Day 4: Horseback riding to the north - Corriente River (22 kilometers)

Country breakfast is waiting for you. On the way to the river, you pass through an old cemetery dating from the year 1850. Continuing through the mountains, you will reach a rural school and pass the provincial route to reach the river along the path of the farm. Arrive at the place of lunch and walk along the beaches and the river bites to observe other types of birds and abundant vegetation. Lamb for lunch is stake or Carrero stew. Nap in the field. You return through a natural forest and an old rice field to pass where the buffaloes graze. You will end the day with tea, free time, and dinner.

Day 5: Horseback riding to Estancias (26 kilometers)

Optional and it can be done in the middle of your stay. You will have a country breakfast. It leaves in the same direction as the river. It gallops along the provincial route where you can see the gauchos of the area making some troops. Arrival at the ranch. There a recognition of the place is made. You will walk through the forest. Lunch at the ranch. After relaxing, you have to leave to return to Buena Vista.

Passing through dense mountains and lagoons, halfway through the trip, you reach the ranch's ranch bathroom. You pass through the "Pucu" estuary to enter Buena Vista. Once in Buena Vista, they are awaited at a post to have country tea. You will gallop three kilometers. Remaining to reach the town of Estancia Buena Vista. Free time and dinner.

Day 6: Horseback riding to Esquina (38 kilometers)

You will have a country breakfast. Departure to the "Pucu" estuary, cross fields along the farm path, and have lunch at a place agreed by the rider. A picnic-style lunch box is waiting for you. Continue the ride until you reach the town. In Esquina, there will be a city tour to show this city of more than 200 years. You will enjoy tea and a relaxing massage by a kinesiologist (optional). Free time and dinner in a classic restaurant in the city. Transfer to the Corner Terminal or Airport.

About the holiday

Ride on horseback along the extensive paddocks of the 2,000 hectares allows the rider to enjoy a spectacular sunset, cross lagoons at full gallop, or trot along the sandy beaches of the river and its banks. The horse riding programs are quite varied and always contemplate the riders' previous experience with horses. You will also be able to share and enjoy the different tasks of the gauchos and become one of them.
