While staying in Good Piglet Ranch's place, you can expect clean air, sleeping in silence, waking up with the birds chirping and watching the starry skies at night. You will stay in an apartment on the ground floor of a house. It is a cozy apartment with mountain view. There is one room with four beds, made from recycled wooden pallets (one double bed and two single beds). Each bed has its own locker with a key so that your personal belongings will be safe while you’re outside.

All guests can use a shared bathroom with shower. Water is always warm, due to the instantaneous water heater. Towels are included. There is also a common room and shared kitchen, as well as the outside area. Pets are also welcome to stay with you. Coffee-maker, kettle, hairdryer, refrigerator, oven, stove, iron (upon request), and laundry (washing and drying, upon request and free of charge) are available.

The interior space is heated throughout the whole winter season, so that no matter when you arrive, your accommodation will be pleasantly warm. During the summer season, on the other hand, the temperature is naturally pleasant without the use of air conditioners. The whole area is covered by free Wi-Fi and the apartment is a non-smoking area. For smokers, a covered area is provided in front of the apartment. There is only street parking if you arrive by car.

  • Distance: approximately 20 kilometers per day
  • Group size: families or group of friends up to three people
  • Level: intermediate and advanced riders
  • Limited weight of riders: up to 70 kilograms for the first rider, up to 90 kilograms for the second rider, and up to 110 kilograms for the third rider

To participate, you should be an, at least, intermediate rider, comfortable in the saddle at all paces as the tour requires four to five riding hours per day on varied terrain. The minimal requirement is that you are in control of a horse at a walk and trot and are used to riding in the open country and over different types of terrain. Your guide is carefully attentive to your needs and can adjust the rides and pace as needed.

Good Piglet Ranch has four horses (and one Welsh Pony), who are all very fit and healthy, very well-cared for, well-schooled and responsive. Each horse has a different personality and Good Piglet Ranch will always try to match each rider with the right horse.
