The path of orchids takes you to the cloud forest with its unique flora and fauna. With a bit of luck, you can observe a quetzal (gods bird).
You take another ride into the cloud forest, where pumas, jaguars, and ocelots live in the wild, but do not worry, they are very shy and rarely show up. Orchids grow here on the wayside like buttercups in Germany.
You ride on to one of the most beautiful fincas in the area, where cattle are bred and at the same time the cloud forest is protected, you'll see how to do that on the spot. With some gallops over lush meadows, you then reach the jungle.
Visit a gold mine. You learn many interesting things about how ore is processed into gold. The mountains here are called Monte de Oro ("Golden Hills") and there are even real gold miners here. They are not many anymore, but they like to talk about the old days.
Gold digging is very exhausting and there is no security on profit! You let the activity explain and with a little luck, you will hold a real lump of gold after a short time!
Have breakfast and, depending on the time of your departure, have lunch and depart.
