The next place will be the artificial lake of Tratalias where you will get to an amazing panoramic place to see the close lake basin and also the distant coast.

Day 3: Sea and history

This day is dedicated to a horse trail for experts discovering the Eastern coast of S.Antioco island

The horses arrive by a van on the Island of S.Antioco. In the area of the ex quarries of Palmas, you unload the horses and begin your riding to the beautiful beach of Maladroxia through the Mediterranean vegetation until the coastline in the south to the wild beach of Coe’ Cuaddus, then you go to Turri with its majestic 700 years old tower who dominates the headline and its inner bays, sometimes sandy and sometimes rocky, it depends on the sea’s whims.

Losing this incredible and unparalleled view offered by this piece of coast, you go through the inland of the island to reach the valley of Cannai from where you will come back to the starting point. It is an extremely fascinated experience to discover this Eastern coast of S. Antioco.

Dinner in the Agriturismo “Is Concais”, a typical Sardinian kitchen.

Day 4: Amazing views and wide horizons

Today is full of exploration to the west coast of S. Antioco – horse riding full of emotions.

On this second trail that you are sugguested on the island of S. Antioco, the starting point is the known fountain of Cannai. It’s an ancient animal drinking-trough in the valley named Cannai. You start from here the tour going through an itinerary that takes you into the ruins of Su Semafuru, a historical stop light postation placed in height to guard the bay of Palmas.

After enjoying this unique panoramic view given by this strategical hill where it’s possible to admire all the sea around, you cross the Mediterranean vegetation to a place called Portu Sciusciau on the coast with a picturesque view of the cavern of Sirene. Then you visit the nuragic village of Grutti’e Acqua and the grave of the Giant placed in Su Niu’e su Crobu. The last stop before coming back is the beautiful bay of Calasapone with its arms of a cliff that hug the sea drawing a charming cove where it’s possible to enjoy multicolored sunsets.

Dinner in a restaurant with fresh fish.

Day 5: Islands on the island in high altitude

Discover Monte Suergiù and its panorama of the islands of Sulcis.

It is a horse trail on the mountain that offers you a priceless view of the Sulcis archipelago. During this excursion, you make also a stop near the Domus de Janas of Crobu’s mountain, you will climb the mountain of Suergiu until 400 meters above sea level. From the green paths of this hill, you will be surprised with a breathtaking view over the sea and over S. Antioco and S.
