Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
You will arrive at either Kayseri Erkilet Airport or Nevşehir Airport Cappadocia depending on your flight. Then you will be picked up by a shuttle from the airport and transferred to the Cave Hotel, located in the historic town of Mustafapaşa. You can either take a stroll around the town or relax in your room until dinner. Depending on your arrival time, you will have your first night's dinner together with your tour guide.
Day 2: Ride from Mustafapaşa to Golgoli
Good morning! You get to enjoy your authentic Turkish breakfast between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. After breakfast, you will be driven to the ranch which is located only four minutes away. You will get to see your beautiful little ranch and your horse will be ready to mount. Horseback Riding Turkey will supply you with two water bottles, you can also place essentials inside the bags. First, you will ride through Golgoli, which is one of the oldest sites of Mustafapaşa. You will have a tour of through the ancient city Golgoli with a view of Damsa Dam.
Every step you take will make you feel like you are traveling through time. Then you will pass the Keşlik Monastery from the sixth century. There will be a short photo break to take some pictures. Once you pass through, you will stop for lunch. You will canter and gallop back to the ranch after lunch. On the way back, you will pass by a lovely river where you can swim together with your horse, depending on the weather. You will have a rest at the hotel and end the day with dinner.
Day 3: Ride from Mustafapasa to Golgoli Mountain
After breakfast, you will be riding through the village in Mustafapaşa towards Ayvali. There, you will ride up to the highest point of Ayvali, the Golgoli Mountain. Once you have reached the top, you get to enjoy the mesmerizing unique view, it is truly a hidden gem. After a short break, you will ride down into the village and enjoy a great authentic homemade Turkish lunch, followed by a cup of tea or coffee.
Then you continue your journey through the fascinating valley where you can see many pigeons’ nests in caves. You will ride by the river with beautiful scenery. The atmosphere is so unique, it is Horseback Riding Turkey's favorite trail. You then ride back to the ranch in Mustafapasa and will be taken to the hotel. You will have a rest at the hotel and end the day with dinner.
Day 4: Departure day
You will get to enjoy your authentic Turkish breakfast for the last time and Horseback Riding Turkey will be sad to see you go. Checkout time is at 12:00 p.m. Your transfer will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the airport. If your flight is later in the evening, you are welcome to wait in the lobby. They wish you a safe flight home and would love to see you back again. And to your delight, you will have additional luggage to take back home with you - which is: priceless memories.
About the holiday
This joyful experience is open to advanced and experienced horse riders. Some of the routes would need to be passed with hard gallop. Some routes may require you to dismount your horse and you have to be able to mount again independently. Because they prioritize your needs, they have to mention these points.
Riding with well-mannered and lively Arabian and Anatolian-Arabian horses will leave you refreshed and full of joy. You are advised to bring your own riding equipment (helmets, boots, etc.) Reliable and modern equipment and helmets are provided upon request. You must be fit, able to trot, canter, and gallop, and have experience with trail riding.
