Japan Horseback Riding Holiday
This is the most popular activity that is only offered during summer season (June to September). You will first depart from the farm on the horseback for a quick town walk down to the ocean, then the guides will remove the saddle and help you dive into the ocean on the horse, bareback of course. You will get to ride the waves with horses, hold on to the horse’s tail, have a relaxed time on the horse’s back and of course, give it a try of running in the water! You do not want to miss this!

Beginner course (90 minutes)
The course will be identical to the experienced course. However, in the beginner course, an instructor will be with you so you can enjoy it safely!!
Experienced course (90 minutes)
The beach swim will be a 90 minute course. You will ride the horse at the farm and walk through the Miura city to the beach. Then, with the horse, you will experience many awesome activities in the ocean on the horse bareback!You can enjoy walk and run in the ocean, try tail surfing with the horse, ride backwards or even jump from the horse butt. There will be lots of exciting programs.
Precautions
- The time is the whole experience, not the time on the beach
- Due to safety purposes, staff will be beside customers under middle school ages so the price will be beginner prices regardless of their experience.
- Helmets, boots, vests with airbags, chaps can be rented free.
- With the increasing population on the beach, they require customers to have more than 100 riding lessons to apply for the experienced horse trekking course for safety reasons.

The holiday will take place in Miura City, Kanagawa, Japan. Horse Trekking Farm Miurakaigan is a local Japanese horseriding farm that is located 10 minutes from the Miurakaigan Station, Kanagawa prefecture, Japan. They provide an extraordinary riding experience that is unique in Japan along with a fun local culture experience of this Miura Area for their guests. The cozy farm is located on a bamboo hill, surrounded by the local farm fields and natural beauty, right next to the town walk.
