Day 1: Bishkek - Karakol city (400 kilometers)

In the morning, I'm Nomad will meet you at your hotel and start to drive to north Kyrgyzstan. You will drive by the north shore of the lake and stop to visit Burana tower on the way. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. There will be a city tour in Karakol. Accommodation would be in a hotel.

Day 2: Jety Oguz - Chon Kizil-Suu

Morning transfer to Jety Oguz valley. You'll visit the Seven Balls and walk to a panorama. You'll arrive at Kok Jayk and meet with horse riding team.

There, you'll start your adventure on horseback. You will ride to the next valley via a small pass at 2900 meters altitude. You'll cross the mountain rivers and forest. You'll see the beautiful landscape of Alpine mountains. Accommodation would be a camp around hot springs.

Day 3: Kichi Kizil - Suu Valley

You will get to the kingdom of Green Mountains, red rocks, and steep cliffs. You will cross the field of Edelweiss to enjoy the wonderful view of the Issyk-Kul Lake.

Day 4: Kichi Kizil-Suu - Djukkutchak

After breakfast, you will continue your way to Jumatai Pass (3654 meters). You will ride over this pass to get to Jiluu-Suu (warm water), where you will be able to swim in a hot spring (+40 degree Celcius).

Day 5: Djukutchak - Djuuku

You will descend on your horse back to Djukkutchak village. You will see a variety of plants: beautiful spruce trees and juniper. You will get to Djukku valley to set up your camp.

Day 6: Djuuku - Dungouromé

During the day, you will follow caravans going to this valley. You'll ride up to Dungourome Pass (3773 meters), at the foot of the glaciers.

Day 7: Dungourome - Barskoon valley

In the morning, you will descend to the west to the Dungourom valley. You will come through the former border checkpoint which is just an ecological checkpoint now. You'll then come down to the Barskoon valley. You will see cascades and the monument abdicated. Arrival at a guesthouse. In the afternoon, you'll rest on the southern shore of the Issyk-Kul Lake.

Day 8: Expedition to Son Kul lake at 3016 meters altitude

Morning transfer to Naryn region. You will drive by south shore of the lake and visit Skazka canyons. You'll stop to meet with eagle hunters and traditional dinner in local Kyrgyz family. You'll visit felt making center in Kochkor city. You'll drive to Son Kul via Kalmak Ashuu pass at 3400 meters altitude. You'll experience the beautiful landscape of Steppe mountains.

Day 9: Horseback riding to Kilemche

You'll visit Steppe mountains and ride along the lake. Have a visit to local nomads in high mountains. You will cross the Jalguz Karagay pass at 3300 meters altitude. You'll have fantastic views on the snow tops. You'll arrive at Kilemche pasture.

  • Riding time: 5 hours
  • Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner
  • Accommodation: yurt

Day 10: Horseback riding to Kyzyl Oy village

The departure will be from the morning. You'll ride till Kyz Art pass and meet with a driver. Lunch will be in Chaek village then you'll have a transfer to Kyzyl Oy village in the middle of Tian Shan.

  • Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner
  • Accommodation: guesthouse

Day 11: Transfer to Bishkek

You'll be transferred to Bishkek. You'll drive via Suusamyr valley and stop on the top of the Too Ashuu pass at 3500 meters altitude. Lunch will be on the way in a local restaurant. Arrival in Bishkek will be in the afternoon.

Day 12: Flight back

Early morning, you'll be transferred to the airport and back to home. End of trip.
