Riding on horseback in Kyrgyzstan is the best way to discover the mountains and high plateau. For centuries, the Kyrgyz nomads have been travelling on horseback, looking for beautiful pastures. The aim of this trip is not only to discover the country and its landscapes but also to experience the nomad culture and its strong bond to the equestrian world. The trip will also be an opportunity to share in the lives of locals who live in harmony with nature.

Group size: 4-15 participants
Day 1 - Bishkek
Meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel, after some rest, you will go for the city tour. Your accommodation for the night will be in a hotel.
Day 2 - Valley Soussamir
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Suusamyr valley, which will take four hours of driving. Late afternoon, you'll meet your horse guides and horses. Overnight will be in tents at 2700 meters altitude.
Day 3 - Riding Suusamyr (and back to camp)
Horse riding on Soussamir valley, one of the largest pastures of Kyrgyzstan. You will meet with horse breeders settled with their herds and enjoy 5 to 6 hours of riding. Late afternoon, you will return to the camp. Overnight is in tents at 2700 meters altitude.
Day 4 - Riding to Ters
Horse riding in the direction of jailoo (pasture in Kyrgyz) Ters. You will enjoy a picnic before the pass in a peaceful area surrounded by small lakes. After the picnic, you will pass the pass Jaisan (3600 m). Overnight will be in a yurt or tents at 2600 meters altitude.
Day 5 - Riding to Borkorboz (and back to camp)
After breakfast, you will start your riding toward Borkorboz lake (3400 meters) to corral a herd of the horses to another pasture. You will enjoy a picnic on the shore of the lake BorKorboz, and late afternoon you'll ride back to the camp. Overnight will in a yurt or tents at 2600m altitude.
Day 6 - Riding to Japyrtmakty Pasture
Riding to Japyrtmakty pasture and passing by another pass of 3400 meters. Late afternoon, you will arrive in a the peaceful, wild, place surrounded by mountains and high rocks. Overnight will be in the tents at 2400m altitude.
Day 7 - Riding to Ylaachyn Kaiky Mountain
Riding to Ylaachyn Kaiky, you will climb on the mountain ridges of Uzun-Kya (3300 m), where you can observe the entire Toktogul region, a huge valley with a lake in the middle. Overnight will be in tents at 1900m altitude.
Day 8: Riding to Toktogul
Early morning, you will start to descend in the valley of Toktogul. The fresh mountain air is behind and you will start to feel the hot and dry air of the Toktogul valley. In Toktogul village, you will stop at Ilatbu's guest house, she is a teacher of French language at the local school and Head of Non-governmental organization Jash Muun which develops Kyrgyz traditional handicrafts. Here, you will have an opportunity to discover Kyrgyz carpets. Overnight will be at the guest house with a shower and bath.
Day 9: Riding to the lake
On the ninth day you will be horse riding to Toktogul Lake across the villages and crop fields. Enjoy a pleasant swim in the lake with the horses, and a ride back to the guest house where you will spend the night.
Day 10: Bishkek
A five-hour drive will take you back to Bishkek for a well-deserved rest and a night at the hotel to finish off your trip.
