Since 1995. the ranchers have been hosting the guests at the ranch. Usually, no more than eight or 10 guests stay at the time. You will not be considered a tourist but a part of them and you will do a real-life experience. The dining room and the bar are on the low ground. Meanwhile, the rooms are on the first floor. The other buildings of the ranch are the old ranch house, where the staff lives, a little cottage, the barn, and a tack room.
The new old-west-styled saloon is composed of eight simple bedrooms, each with private bathroom. It accommodates up to 16 guests. This number is rarely reached. The whole building is completely made of wood-balanced and it has a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, enriched by authentic western decorations.
Another thing that is worthwhile mentioning is the cabin, an isolated room, furnished with its own bathroom. This little house allows couple and new-married couple to live their old west honey-moon without being annoyed by anything. In the big saloon, the TV is replaced by the pool table, the football table, and bar.

Sample itinerary
You will get breakfast in the morning, ride, or do working cows (depending on the day) as well as other ranch activities such as eventual rodeos or events (all activities change depending on the season). During the spring season, the calf is born and you have to check them regularly. At the end of May and June, Lake Ranch brands calves. In September - October, they round up and sell calves. They brake foals throughout the entire season.
The horses
Quarter Horses, Paints, and Mustangs are all kind of horses. Some of them are suitable for beginners, others have a lot of "cow sense" in order to work with the cattle and the rest of them are younger and demanding. Most of them are bred and broken at the ranch. The mares and stallions are Quarter Horses with strong and sturdy legs and hooves. The breeding's aim is to obtain strong, trustworthy, and well-balanced horses. Beauty, power and well-balanced, and trustworthiness, these are the horses. During this vacation, Lake Ranch will provide horses for the program.
Note: Minimum one week, exceptions can be made depending on availability.
CHILDREN
To ride horses, children must be at least 10 years old and pass the riding ability assessment.

- Protective headgear and a vest are required for all individuals under 18
- Please note that these accessories are not provided by the ranch and must be brought by the rider
Important info
Adults and children are required to have medical insurance that covers horse riding activities. This is mandatory to anyone that wishes to participate in horse riding activities.

Special tour
The holiday at the ranch can be matched with the spring or autumn tour to Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, and Monument Valley. Both in spring and autumn, the ranch's van leaves the ranch with four or six guests. After a week of holiday at the ranch, you will travel across the USA, in order to discover Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada in an adventurous and non-traditional way.
There can be some variations as mutually agreed between the guests. The overnights will be in high-quality hotels that are already included in the tour-price. The flight back to Italy leaves from Las Vegas. The tour can begin from Las Vegas and end up at the ranch, too.
Seeing Cowboy life and Indian culture
It also can be matched with an experience with the Lakota American Indians in the Black Hills.

The transportation weekly price includes transportation to/from airport on Wednesday and Saturday according to the following schedule:
- Arrivals from 3pm to 8pm
- Departures from 10am to 3pm
- Check-in 5pm and check-out 11am.
Alternate arrival or departure times are not guaranteed, but can be arranged in advance for an additional cost of 250 USD per person, each way. Shuttle service and car rental can also be requested at the airport.
Upon arrival, Lake Ranch will wait for all scheduled guests and escort those who arrive first to various western stores.
Cancellation Policy
- A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
