    "Wouldn't recommend during low season"

    The horse riding lessons were adapted to the horse riding experience of the group and the horses were selected accordingly. The facilities are neat, the horses are taken care of and are well-trained.

    Most lessons exceeded my expectations; however, they weren't held by the trainer stated in the program, but by another really good trainer and one trainee. The lessons were quite short, thus we weren't not sure whether the preparation of the horses already counted as part of the lessons.

    "Wonderful Reintroduction to Riding"

    This trip was an amazing a supportive experience. I am returning to riding after 10 years and was so nervous to feel out of place and weak from years of not riding. Martina and the ladies helping the students were so supportive and the rides in the afternoon in the woods helped me get out of my head about trying to be perfect in the arena. I loved this experience and so thankful for the team here. My dogs loved the trip as well!

    "The Perfect Ride"

    The riding was excellent and in the 7 days I was there, I did not ride the same route once. Silke was a great riding guide and the rides had plenty of variety and included all paces. The scenery was spectacular and the horses are so well trained. I loved the hands-on approach to grooming and feeding. Hannah was a very attentive instructor and helped the rider to understand the science of riding and how to correct faults. I feel I learned a lot and will definitely go back.

    "Horse riding amazing experience "

    I was a beginner and I didn’t know what to expect from this week. From the very beginning Hanna and her Team took good care of me, the learning process with them was easy and fun. The accommodation was cozy and clean, the food excellent.

    The hotel also offers a nice sauna and this was another big plus for me.

    I can only recommend this location, I just came back home and I am really grateful for my experience.

    "I had the time if my life. "

    I was a lone traveler in Landhotel for a week. From the minute I purchased this trip to the second Louise dropped me off to the train station, everything was great. First day, our instructor talked to each of us and select a horse accordingly. All horses were very well trained, healthy, and loved their jobs. There were only 6 of us but they even split our small group into two to give us specific help. Our morning lessons in the arena was very helpful. In the afternoon we did forest rides. This place in in the middle of a beautiful forest surrounded by tens of different trails. Gallops through the forest was so much fun. We each progressed with the help of our instructors (Matina and Hannah). We even rode bareback once which I could have never attempted if it wasn’t on one of their horses. We took care of our own horse which made it even more special. But instructors and barn-hand were always there to help when needed. Hotel was also very comfortable. Food was amazing. There is an open buffet and it never runs out. Everything I ate there were very delicious. Hotel staff (which was mostly young college students) were very friendly and kind. I will never forget the week I spent in Landhotel and hopefully will go back in the very near future.

    "A lovely place to relax and enjoy the nature"

    Our group of three stay in Landhotel Hitzacker for 8 days, we had 6 days of riding. Two of us are total beginner, never ridden before, Hannah did an excellent job; they are now able to trot and go out for walk with no problem. We hardly speak any German, and our host Louise and instructor Hannah speaks perfect English, no problem with communication at all.

    A ride in the forest is a MUST. We were lucky to visit in November, we saw a magical forest of gold right in front of our eyes. In the evening, is one of the darkest place you will find and we saw starts and milky way with our eye.

    I love their way of approach with riding is all about the communication with the horse/pony you ride. You will be handling the horse yourself, from bring it to the stable for grooming to tacking up your own horse with staff's supervision.

    Definite a place to unwind and relax. Louise's food are delicious, friendly staff, quiet village. We got pampered so much we even lost track of dates in the middle of the week. A place I will bring my friends and family to visit again.
