Accommodation

During this horse trek, you will be staying for four nights at deluxe hotels in Kathmandu and in Pokhara. Also included in the package is full board accommodation in lodges and guesthouses on a twin sharing basis during the horse ride trek with a 24-hour hot and cold shower.

Program

Day 1

  • Arrive in Kathmandu and drive to the hotel (1350 meters).

Day 2

  • Kathmandu half-day sightseeing (4-5 hours).

Day 3

  • Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820 meters, 6-7 hours).

Day 4

  • Flight from Pokhara to Jomsom (2770 meters, 23 minutes).
  • Horse ride to Kagbeni (2810 meters, 4-5 hours).

Day 5

  • After breakfast, you will have a horse ride from Kagbeni to Muktinath (3800 meters) where you will overnight at a hotel.

Day 6

  • After breakfast, you will have a horse ride from Muktinath to Marpha to Jomsom, where you will overnight.

Day 7

  • Early morning flight back to Pokhara.
  • After lunch, there will be a Pokhara sightseeing.

Day 8

  • Drive to Kathmandu.

Day 9

  • Departure.

Arrival by airplane

Please arrange your flight to arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) in Kathmandu. This airport is the only international airport in Nepal.
