The accommodation will be a Coachman Caravan. You will be based next to Lauro Golf, a 27-hole golf course that offers beautiful walks as well as hiking in the mountains. You will stay in this fresh and bright caravan with a 1.40 x 1.90 bed and a sofa that is convertible to a bed as well.

The finca has a lovely garden with all kinds of vegetables, herbs, and several fruit trees: lemon, orange, kaki, and pomegranate. Every season offers different things that will be served fresh from the garden. You will find a BBQ area, a yoga area, and a sweet little swimming pool with sunbeds and an adorable cat to cuddle with.

Breakfast and lunch are always included in the price. The refrigerator will be filled with whatever you fancy for breakfast so you can have the breakfast of your own choice. Some fruit, snacks, tea, coffee, etc., is always available. Lunch will mainly be served at the Spainriding Finca.

Dinner can be added, or you could visit one of the 3 local restaurants. The excellent restaurant at Lauro Golf, The Torre de Vega, or Venta la Porrita.

Just a 5-minute walk from the Spainriding Finca, you will find a well-maintained riding center with a large show jumping arena and a dressage arena 60 X 20. Here you will also find the Stable Bar. The schedule will be adjusted according to your skills and wishes, which day you arrive, the season, and the weather. Photos under "Select your package".

Program

On this holiday, you will do body awareness practice every day in the form of breathing, core, easy meditation, and yoga exercises. The aim is for you to learn to listen to and like yourself and your body. Become one with yourself, then you can learn to become one with the horse if you wish.

When you work with yourself, there are always questions coming up about the past, present, and future. Coaching in a “guiding to find your own insights” way is always available. It could be like chats at the lunch table or more serious sessions, if that’s preferable.

Mia also offers a non-rider package, in which you will have free time instead of riding. If you would rather have activities instead, you just pay the full price. Then you can choose as you please. Let her know if you are interested.

Typical day

The schedule will be adjusted according to your skills and wishes, the day you arrive, the season, and the weather. All tuition is tailor-made to suit each individual rider's level and preferences, starting with the basics.

There will be a minimum of 14 hours of activities with lectures, coaching, core and yoga, breathwork, mindfulness, meditation, hiking, sound baths, sound massage, voice, and sound journey, astrology, chakra balancing, crystal and moon ceremonies, and tarot card readings.

You will enjoy 4 hours of horseback riding. The stable is a 5-minute walk from the Spainriding Finca, and Adolfo, Adolfito, or Celia will be your riding teacher. They are well known for their jumping lessons. They compete at a high level themselves. They also have ponies and all-round horses for riders of all levels.

If you choose a non-rider package, you will have free time instead of riding. If you would rather have private coaching, sound sessions, yoga, astrology, tarot sessions, etc., instead, you just pay the full price. Then you can choose as you please.

Mia Isacsson is eager to teach you but also recommends that you take some time to relax and restore. Yoga, core, and meditation practice will be at your suitable level.

All the horses and things carry insurance; however, you are responsible for your own holiday and riding insurance.

You will ride in dressage, all-round, or jumping saddles, depending on what you will practice. The bridles are double bridles or single bridles.

Peter Hess® sound massage

To make you even more relaxed, a Peter Hess® sound massage is included. The session typically starts with the client lying down comfortably on a yoga mat, mattress, bed, or massage table, fully clothed. Each session is tailor-made to suit the needs of the client.

Tibetan singing bowls are placed on or around the body, often on specific energy centers or chakras, and played with a mallet. The resonant sounds and vibrations emitted by the singing bowls are thought to gently balance and harmonize the body’s energy, facilitating relaxation and a sense of inner calm.

The vibrations and frequencies produced are said to penetrate deeply into the body, helping to release tension, reduce stress, and induce a meditative state.

Voice and sound journey

If you would like to explore and express yourself through the use of your voice. The voice is the first instrument, coming from the depths of human existence. The goals with this practice are to more consciously hear and know yourself, feel free to express yourself, make yourself heard, free yourself from limiting conditioning, develop greater understanding of your creative expression, and create a greater trust in yourself. You could also be introduced to "light code / language."

Moon ceremony

A celebration to the moon, this can be done in many ways. In summer, just lying down looking at the sky is an amazing experience. In colder seasons, a yoga moon salutation might be a better choice. Crystals will be used and there will be different themes according to the lunar phases and what astrological sign the moon is in.

The first quarter symbolizes action, decision-making, and overcoming obstacles, all crucial aspects of personal growth. Think of it as the universe’s way of giving you a gentle nudge to start putting your plans into motion in order to manifest your new moon intentions.

The full moon shines the light on things that might have been hidden or unseen. During the full moon phase, the sun’s opposition to the moon represents a peak of energy, clarity, and intuition. This is the time to see yourself clearly, to look inwards, and to not push your body too hard.

Full moon is about completion. Rest in who and where you are. Appreciate what you have achieved. Moon bathing is said to be beneficial. Going into the water is said to make you absorb her powerful energy even more. It’ll be a moment to pause, reflect, and connect with your inner self.

Spiritually, it helps cleanse negative energy, enhance emotional release, and encourage a deeper sense of calm. Charging crystals under the full moon is a powerful and ancient ritual rooted in the belief that the moon’s energy can cleanse, amplify, and recharge a crystal’s inherent properties.

Last quarter is for reflection and release. Let go of what doesn't serve you and prepare for new beginnings.

The new moon is the best time for stargazing. The moon is in conjunction with the sun and thus in the current zodiac sign for the period.

Then, it will be time to set new intentions. This is the time to plant new seeds, both in the garden and in life: seeds of intention - goals, dreams, or aspects of yourself that you wish to cultivate. Just as a seed requires darkness to germinate, your own transformations will often begin in the quiet hush of introspection. One way to do this is to build your own crystal grid.

Crystals

You can use crystals in a grid to amplify your intentions. If you don't know anything about crystals, just choose the ones you like intuitively. If you want help in choosing crystals with specific properties and benefits, your hosts will be happy to assist.

Crystals are also helpful during meditation, especially in chakra meditations, wherein a crystal connected to the chakra you will be working with can be used.

Yoga

Yoga and other exercises can wake up your physical body, create a nice feeling in your emotional body, balance your mind, set clear intentions, and tune in to your spiritual body. Yin, slow flow, core, qigong, pilates.

Riding gear

It is recommended that if you are going to ride, you provide your own riding helmet and that you wear riding pants and boots or chaps. There are some helmets you can use in the stable, but not of very high quality. Gloves are needed while working from the ground. All guests should have a reasonable standard of fitness from the view of safety.

It rarely rains here at Costa del Sol, but during the winter, there can be heavy rains that make riding risky. If this should happen, you will be offered other activities instead: an excursion, core and yoga classes, a sound bath, a sound massage, a voice & sound journey, coaching, astrology, chakra balancing, crystal and moon ceremonies, and tarot card readings. The same applies if you find it too hot to ride in the summer.

Included excursions

One excursion included. There are a lot of options depending on the season and day of arrival: a guided hike in the mountains, a trail ride in the mountains, 4-element meditation at the beach, a Buddhist temple, Donkey Dreamland, a zipline, a flamenco show, a marketplace, a typical small Spanish white village, Malaga Center, an art class, a beach ride, Spanish Feria, a shopping center, the botanical garden in Torremolinos, Agua Park, just a trip to the beach to relax, etc.

Location

This holiday will take place in Malaga, Spain. Malaga, the Spanish city which adjoins Costa del Sol, is a popular tourist destination and for good reason. For several years, this beautiful city has been overshadowed by its other Andalusian cities such as Granada, Cordoba, and Seville. However, Malaga is now receiving a lot more attention as a tourist destination. In fact, its art is being compared to that of Madrid and its food to that of none other than Barcelona.
