In Galiny, they have everything you will need in abundance: unlimited space with fragrant herbs, picturesque hills, winding canyons, and the blue ponds; these combine to offer the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday in the saddle.
The hotel offers 36 rooms and suites for its guests. Each is a comfortably furnished room that features an LCD TV, telephone, and free wireless internet access. The cozy tavern serves specialties prepared with local, organic produce and offers a delicious regional hint of exoticism and the unparalleled taste of truly natural ingredients.
Pałac i Folwark Galiny is one of the best family hotels in Mazuria. Throughout the property, you can find a host of friendly places for the youngest guests to enjoy. The inn has a playroom for children. Its location, in direct connection with the dining room, means that supervising adults can keep an eye on their kids without having to leave the table. Just behind the inn, there is a playground with slides, trampoline, swings, and sandbox. For the youngest, there is a football ground and volleyball pitch.
The cozy country-style rooms are located on the ground floor and the first floor of the 19th century Grange. The natural beauty of wood combined with delicate pastel shades creates a unique atmosphere in each of the rooms. Stylish bay windows and shutters complete the whole image. Some rooms are available directly from the garden, a possibility which is especially appreciated by dog owners, who are always welcome. One of the apartments located on the ground floor has been adapted to comfortably accommodate disabled guests. The spacious bathrooms are matched to the character of each room.
The comfortable interiors of the 16th Century Palace offer decor in keeping with courtly traditions. The historic interiors of the Renaissance palace feature a collection of respectfully-restored furniture which is complemented by and matched to individually-designed wooden pieces. The rooms are spacious and each features a different style of décor and an individual color scheme. A couple of the rooms have a separate dressing room and direct access to the garden. These palace rooms are especially recommended for people who appreciate comfort and peace.
The transfer from Gdańsk-Lech Wałęsa Airport (GDN) lasts about two and a half hours. After your arrival at the hotel, you will get to know the people and staff who will take care of you during your stay in Galiny. You will be invited to the stables and be introduced to the riding instructors. They will take you for a one-hour test ride on the riding arena, this is going to help them match the horse to your riding skills and riding style. In the evening, you will enjoy a Warmian dinner.
Each day will begin with a morning breakfast then you will start the trail accompanied by the instructors. Every trail is about 30km and lasts for approximately six hours (including the time for lunch and a short break). Each day you will visit a different place. Lunch will be served in every location. When you get back to Galiny, a delicious dinner will be served at the restaurant.
At the stables, together with the instructors, you will prepare horses for a terrain trip. You will ride along the Warmia’s wonderful meadows and forests. The trail will include walk, trot, and gallop and will lead you to Stoczek Klasztorny, where a 17th Century Sanctuary in the shape of a baroque rotunda with cloisters and cornered chapels is. The monks at the monastery will prepare the lunch for you. After a short rest in the monastery gardens, you shall leave on a journey that will take you back to Galiny.
After another filling breakfast from the buffet, you will prepare for a ride to a small village called Wegoryty. Lunch will be served on a local farm; the owners are known for delicious vegetable pates.
Have your breakfast in the morning and lunch in the afternoon (if you started your week with a dinner). After check-out, you will get back home with, hopefully, a full luggage of incredible experiences and amazing memories.
Stud in Galiny was founded in 1998 and has been constantly evolving since then. They conduct breeding activities there; they breed sports horses of Holsteiner and Westphalian races because sports is a necessary verification of breeding achievements. The historic stables and run pens accommodate more than 70 horses and the stud farm also uses 70 hectares of pastures.
Horses bred at Galiny excel in both national and international show jumping events, occupying leading positions in young horse championships especially. Galiny is also proud to have organized a number of cyclical sporting events. They run show jumping competitions throughout May whilst during the summer, they usually hold the "Open Championship of Warmia and Masuria" in show jumping for horses four and a half to six years old.
In the Galiny stud, there is a riding school conducting lessons for adults and children at different levels. Lessons are conducted at four riding sites and the indoor dressage ground. All of the horse riding instructors are fully qualified and have a wealth of experience in teaching both children and adults. Four of the instructors are able to lead the lessons in English. Palac i Folwark Galiny takes great care to ensure guests’ safety and to offer a quality horse riding experience. They work with small groups and horses are matched individually to each rider.
The riding school provides appropriate helmets and chaps.
Maja was born in 1996. She can speak Polish and English. She has gained her experience in Poland. Silver and brown PZJ (Polish Equestrian Union) badge.

In the colorful, specially-designed children’s menu, every child can find something they like: fish and poultry, vegetable sides, fruit desserts, and freshly squeezed juice. For children requiring a special diet, the chefs will prepare an individual menu. The restaurant is equipped with a child menu, high chair, bottle warmers, and safety cutlery.
One of Galiny’s greatest assets is the excellent cuisine, modern but taking into account the typical culinary traditions of the region.
Tthe two-storey tavern, recognised by the clock tower standing proudly above it, is located in the historic granary. The unique atmosphere is created by the exposed rafters of the high wooden ceiling and the centrally-located, romantic fireplace and original bread oven. The charming feel of the tavern is accentuated by handmade clay jars, bowls, and flower decorations. Whether you’d like to enjoy a homemade beverage by the fireplace during winter or to sample one of Galiny’s delicious meals amidst a sea of summer flowers in the garden, you are guaranteed an unforgettable experience, both in a culinary sense and more.
Galiny's Inn has twice been awarded a "cap" in the Yellow Guide Gault & Millau Poland, one of the country’s two most prestigious publications relating to catering. It has also received the award in the 10th edition of the Best Product and Service of Warmia and Masuria in the category of catering. For many years, they have proudly been a member of the Culinary Heritage of Warmia and Masuria and riverbank of the Vistula district of Warsaw.
Olga Lompa, a chef with true passion and calling, always seeking to inspire her guests with interesting flavors. She trained at Master Kurt Scheller kitchen and practiced with Chef Adam Chrząstowski as well as other respected Polish restaurateurs, Agnieszka and Martin Kreglicki.

Beloved by children, Galiny’s miniature farm is a great source of knowledge and entertainment. Children can visit the farm to learn about the animals, their habits, needs, and how to care for them. The farm includes paddocks and a small barn, providing a great home for miniature horses, donkeys, colorful goats, and sheep. Under supervision, children can get involved in feeding and caring for these friendly animals, a visit to the farm is always an adventure and leaves lasting memories!
Good-natured ponies and friendly instructors welcome smallest guests to the world of riding, providing them with a safe contact and a new-found love for these noble animals
The mini-carriages are drawn by Maniek or Benek, ponies loved by children. These carriage rides are great fun and provide unforgettable adventures, especially when the youngest guests get to take the reins and play the role of driver! The activities take place under the watchful eye of professional instructors, ensuring a safe and fun experience for everybody
The historic English-style park, divided into two by the winding waters of river Pisa, surrounds the palace. Humming waterfalls, hidden in the privacy of trees, cozy gazebos, and walking trails among the picturesque shrubs and flowers make it a favorite destination for couples, photographers, and lovers of contemplation. In 2000, the park was honored by the Minister of Culture with a gold medal for the best carried-out restoration of the park in Poland.
Two tennis courts with professional brick pavements are available for guests during the spring and summer season (April to October). It is a huge pleasure to play in the open air, surrounded by the beautiful nature Mazury. A full set of professional equipment for the game can be rented at the hotel's reception.
Galiny's meadows, pastures, and ponds provide unlimited opportunities for active contact with nature. The pier and the beach at the biggest pond encourage swimming or fishing whilst the open spaces tempt you to go for a gallop or to take a walk, a Nordic walk, or a bike ride. Rolling hills are enjoyed by cross-country skiers. Outdoor shooting with air-guns is an additional attraction and is available upon request. Galiny is the "Cyclist-Friendly Place" at the East Green Velo Bike Trail.
Horse-drawn carriage rides in summer and winter sleigh rides in Masuria can end with a bonfire or a feast in the old smithy, guests love this as a way to combine good fun and fresh air with a tour of Galiny’s beautiful surroundings. They also have mini-drawn carriages ideal for the youngest guests.
