Picturesquely-set amid the gently rolling hills of the lovely Mazurian countryside, the Palac i Folwark Galiny is indeed a special place. The 16th century Renaissance manor surrounded by a 12-acre park, bisected by the meandering Pisa river, along with the 19th-century grange (a large farmstead typical in this part of Europe), are full of the uncommon peace. Complemented with renewed antique utensils and tailor-made as well as the specially designed wooden furniture, the palace and grange interiors are modeled according to court tradition.
The spacious and convenient rooms, each characterised by its individual décor and color scheme, will leave you in an awe sensation that is magnified even further during a stay in one of the rooms offering an individual wardrobe and direct access from the garden. Moreover, there is also a stud farm that was established in 1998. It is a part of the historic grange buildings that was renovated and adapted especially for this purpose. The stud farm has more than 70 horses. In the stud farm, there is a riding school conducting lessons for adults and children at different levels.
The natural beauty of wood combined with delicate pastel shades creates a unique atmosphere in each of the rooms. Stylish bay windows and shutters complete the whole image. Some rooms are available directly from the garden, a possibility which is especially appreciated by dog-owners who are always welcome. One of the apartments located on the ground floor has been adapted to comfortably accommodate disabled guests. The spacious bathrooms are matched to the character of each room. Each room is facilitated with television, free Wi-Fi, phone, hairdryer, and large bathroom.
The historic interiors of the Renaissance palace feature a collection of respectfully-restored furniture which is complemented by and matched to individually-designed wooden pieces. The rooms are spacious and each features a different style of décor and an individual color scheme. A couple of the rooms have a separate dressing room and direct access to the garden. These palace rooms are especially recommended for people who appreciate comfort and peace. Each room is facilitated with television, phone, free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, and large bathroom.
