Ali is renowned for his expertise in fixing problem horses and training horses and riders for films and live events. The ranch offers riding lessons for all abilities, advanced training for both horses and riders, desert hacks, and the opportunity to stay with them for residential training, riding holidays, or just to relax and enjoy ranch life. During the holiday, you will stay in a self-contained, furnished studio chalet. One chalet can accommodate a maximum of two adults and two children.

Kindly note: Children under the age of nine years stay free when they share a room with their parents, eat free at Rahal Ranch, and can come on the horse holidays only as non-participating members. At the Ranch, they will have activities and lessons tailored to their needs. They can have pay-as-you-go private lessons and pony rides.
Daily itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and orientation
Settle into the Rahal Ranch paradise, where comfort meets adventure, and a special welcome package awaits you in the room. Get to know your new equine companions during a warm welcome orientation, where their friendly staff will introduce you to their top-notch riding facilities and the exciting itinerary ahead.
Check your riding abilities with a personalized assessment. Get into the action with an afternoon arena lesson or a thrilling guided desert hack, tailored to your experience level; including a unique cycling experience for those who are more confident on two wheels. Wind down under the stars with a delicious dinner at the ranch, where relaxation awaits after an exciting day.
Day 2: Desert expedition
Start your day with an invigorating morning desert hack, where you will traverse the stunning desert landscape and majestic dunes. There is nothing quite as breathtaking as a morning ride in the desert. If you are new to horse riding, rest assured that you are in the right place at the right time.
You will enjoy arena lessons with their experienced instructors, mastering foundational skills and techniques. From the basics of walk, trot, and canter to the thrill of show jumping and trick riding, there is something for riders of all levels. Enjoy some well-deserved downtime in the evening, whether exploring the ranch or simply relaxing at leisure.
Day 3: Freestyle adventure
Customize your morning with a choice of activities: delve into the world of horse care and grooming with a hands-on lesson, shadow Mr. Ali at the ranch to absorb invaluable knowledge, or simply indulge in a day of relaxation, after all, you are on a horse vacation. Spend your afternoon mastering riding techniques, from show jumping, and trick riding to horse communication, guided by expert instructors.
Cap off the day with an optional evening desert hack exploring the golden desert trails, capturing stunning photos amidst the serene desert backdrop. Enjoy leisure time in the evening whether exploring the ranch or simply unwinding at your own pace. Return to the ranch for a tranquil evening of relaxation and reflection.
Day 4: Explore Al Wathba
Embark on an early morning desert excursion to the camel race track and other attractions within Al Wathba, like the cycle track, Salt Lake, The Al Wathba Wetland, and Camp Site; immersing yourself in the cultural richness of the region. Experience the thrill of the Sheikh Zayed Festival (November to March) or opt for a serene sunset desert hack, marveling at the beauty of Arabian dunes. Return to the ranch for a tranquil evening of relaxation and reflection.
Day 5: Farewell and reflection
Opt for a morning ride tailored to your individual preferences and abilities, soaking in the beauty of the desert one last time. Indulge in a hearty brunch at the ranch, savoring the flavors of your unforgettable journey. Bid farewell with a group photo and special gifts, leaving Rahal Ranch with cherished memories and newfound friends.
