The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel - Ravla Khempur

The title ‘Ravla’ in Rajasthan refers to the home of a village chieftain. In earlier days, the Ravla was the focal point of the entire village. Functions such as village welfare, collection of taxes, administration of law and order, and the initiation of festivals took place in the Ravla.

Ravla Khempur exudes historical ambiance and is graced with breathtaking surroundings. The lofty terraces, open courtyards, sprawling gardens, domes, arches and canopied balconies transport one back in time.

Ravla Khempur is a haven for the horse lover. The stables house high pedigree Marwari and Kathiawari horses. The Ravla horses are well trained and guests have the option of exploring Khempur’s surroundings on horseback. The Ravla offers splendid camping facilities at the nearby lakeside, where one can enjoy the spectacle of the early morning activities of local and migratory birds.

Rajmahal Bhindar

The 441 years old majestic grandeur is a heritage hotel in the heart of Village Bhindar, It’s the residential palace of the Bhinder royal family, which is one of the Umrao Jagir to the Udaipur royals. The Bhinder (Shaktawat) family comes from the lineage of Maharaj Shakti Singh (The younger brother of Maharana Pratap). The present Maharaj Randhir Singh ji is the 19th Generation of Maharaj Shakti Singh ji.

The construction of Rajmahal-Bhinder was started by Maharaj Shakti Singh Ji the younger brother of Maharana Pratap in 1578 AD. The rekindling majestic grandeur of this vintage has lived for 441 years. Back in the princely vistas, Maharaja Bhan Singh ji laid the stone of Bhindar Rajmahal in the 16th century henceforth every successive ruler of Bhindar went on to add more buildings to Rajmahal, time-worn but they still faithfully replicate history.

Although Mewar sustained an incalculable myriad of Islamic invasions, the land by the enemy was only temporarily occupied, hence no such Islamic or foreign impact is observed in the arts, architecture, culture of this region.

This mammoth immersion of Rajput heritage in all its magnificence has civil, military and sacred spreads. The civil area maintained the three, 'administrative block’,’common living quarters’ and the ladies section which from Mughal days was better known as the Zenana Mahal.

Fort Dhariyawad

Dhariyawad was founded in the middle of the 16th century by royal prince Sahasmal ( the second son of Maharana Pratap, the legendary hero of Mewar, Udaipur). Situated on the confluences of the Jakham and Karmoi rivers, Dhariyawad is located in the south of Rajasthan and is surrounded by thick subtropical forests of the Aravali Hills. Bhils and other tribal people inhabit this area.

This region is unspoiled by modern civilization, and the best cultural heritage can be experienced here. The fort of Dhariyawad has w been converted into an exclusive heritage hotel maintaining the decor, and the traditional splendor of the fort.
