A very enjoyable time for a good value price.
The Arizona and Utah cabins are good value for money, especially for a solo traveler like me. They're cozy and homely inside, with a fridge, kettle, coffee maker and excellent air conditioning and hot water. It was clear that animals (horses, cats, dogs) are well cared for and the horses are of good temperament and well trained. It was great to learn a different style (western) of riding that you might otherwise have to go all the way to the USA for. The site description says 'café'. There is no café; it's a kitchenette and dining room for communal use. Essentially, kettle, crockery, fridge and a microwave to heat meals up. The microwave meals were good quality. In terms of veg however, you do need to like pickled cabbage. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar are also provided. You get a soup with dinner and as portion sizes were good, this became my lunch for the next day. You might want to bring some bread and snacks to top this up. Small supermarkets are in the area. There are lots of good, fairly flat trails in all the woodland and fields around, or a reservoir to walk all the way around a short distance away. If walking's not for you, then use the bikes. The sauna and hot tub were a great way to finish off an active day. There is WIFI, but I tried to stay off it, so that I could disconnect and destress from my everyday life. Ultimately I had a really chilled out, relaxing stay, which was exactly what I wanted. I've tried to highlight the things missing from the stated facilities.
