Every evening you make camp on a different spot - tents, mats, and sleeping bags are included. Singular riders sleep in individual tents. For a group, tents are shared for 2 or 3 persons. If you like, you are welcome to bring your own light-weight equipment. Depending on arrival and departure times, the first or last night is spent in the hotel.

All the equipment is loaded on the horses. Support vehicle is available upon request with additional cost.

Program

Itinerary

Arrive at the ranch and meet your guide. After a few questions to establish your riding level and preference, you will be introduced to your perfect match horse. Depending on the time of your arrival, you will have a short / longer ride to the first campsite. You can help set up tents, build a fire, and have dinner.

On the next day you will feed your horse, have time for breakfast, pack up camp, and begin the ride.

Each day you will ride towards a different destination with a different spot to set up camp.

On your last day you will ride as much as your time allows before they bring you back to the ranch at your starting point.

Maximum weight per rider

75 kg - this is because of all the camping gear that will be carried by the horse. No support vehicle is included in this trip. For heavier riders a support vehicle is required at additional cost.

Level of riders

This trip is suitable for advanced riders and strong intermediate riders that are comfortable on trot, canter and uneven terrain (within reason).

Included excursions

  • Several hours (5 to 6) of riding per day in the nature - different destinations with beautiful landscapes
  • Building camp site together, care for your horses, build camp fire, and prepare meals

Location

The ranch is located in nature, near Rila National Park. Due to the logging region, they are blessed with countless of riding trails, gallop fields, forest shortcuts, and hidden camp sites into the lush vegetation, many connected with mountain creeks with clear drinking water.

Food

Meals are not included on this trip. Please bring food that is camp - considered: nothing that needs refrigerator, nothing too heavy and items that are already cooked or may be cooked on campfire and/or gas stove that they provide.

Things to do (optional)

  • Non-riders are welcome to join - they may hike to the next destination and/or be driven by the driver with an off road vehicle
  • Meals can be included upon request
  • Forest pool with healing mineral water
  • Extra days ride to visit Belica sanctuary park for dancing bears

The cheapest way is to take a bus, ticket is 9 EUR per direction. From the airport take a taxi or underground train to Central bus station in Sofia and jump on a bus to town of Razlog. Your hosts will pick you up from there for free. Please note that the last bus leaves at 16:45 from Sofia.
