This is a unique fusion of morning English language learning and horse riding with stable management! Whether you own your own horse or you have never ridden before, this specialism caters for every level of ability. Students on this course will get to experience many things, from grooming and mucking out to jumping as well as countryside hacks. In collaboration with professional riding schools, Samiad will make sure that over the course of this programme, students not only improve their English language and riding ability but will make friends from all over the world.
Since the summer of 2014, Trent College has been the original home of the Samiad Summer School, hosting students from around the world.
Renowned for its modern boarding facilities and outstanding sporting amenities, the college boasts spacious sports fields, including both grass and all-weather pitches, which allow students to participate in a variety of sports and social activities.
Moreover, located just a stone’s throw away from the vibrant cities of Nottingham and Derby, the college offers excellent opportunities for older students to explore and shop to their hearts’ content
There will be single and twin rooms with the same price regardless of room type. The room is equipped with bedding, single beds, a wardrobe, bin, desk and chair, and a lamp. Students are housed by gender and, if sharing, will be with someone around their age.

In collaboration with renowned equestrian centres, they've crafted a 2-week journey that not only hones your English language skills but also forges global friendships. For this holiday, Samiad works with St. Leonards Riding School, about a five-minute drive from Trent College campus.
At Samiad, students embark on a multifaceted equine journey, from the gentle art of grooming and tacking up to the adrenaline-pumping thrills of show jumping and countryside hacks. Gain proficiency in English as you master the intricacies of equipment, tack, and equine anatomy.
Rest assured, safety is paramount. Samiad provides safety hats, but if you prefer your child to wear a body protector, kindly bring your own. Join this holiday for an equine odyssey that combines language, friendship, and the sheer joy of riding.
Take part in every aspect of working at stables, from catching the horses, washing, and cleaning them to going on countryside hacks or even learning to jump for the first time. This programme is tailored to your ability while giving you the chance to socialise with other horse-loving students every afternoon.

The programme is designed to help students improve their English language proficiency through a variety of engaging activities and lessons.
