The nearest airstrip is the Hector D. Silva landing strip (BCV) located just outside Belmopan City. Sleeping Giant Rainforest Lodge can arrange scheduled flights or private charters for your trip on Tropic Air.
On scheduled flights each passenger traveling domestically is permitted one carry-on, not to exceed 15 pounds (6.8 kilograms), and two checked bags. Checked bag size is restricted to 62 inches (157 centimeters) in length, 30 inches (76 centimeters) in width and 15 inches (38 centimeters) in height. Excess bags may be placed on a space available status.
For international flights, first, you need to arrive at Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (BZE). If you are looking for transport to and from the lodge, please inquire at the time of your booking and they will help you set up transport.
Arrival and departure transfers can be arranged in advance and are provided via private air-conditioned minivans (8 passenger maximum). Private transfer from and to Belize International Airport is 150 USD plus taxes for 1-4 persons per trip. Extra persons incur an additional 20 USD each, plus taxes.
