Mel & Justyn are friendly, accommodating and professional! Bonus- not only are they great horsewomen but their are incredibly creative cooks!

Justyn & Mel have created a beautiful, calming & joyful atmosphere at their ranch. You have the opportunity to really connect with their horses, grooming & tacking then riding through endless miles of the beautiful & diverse New Mexico countryside, encountering wildlife & amazing views. Their rescue horses are from varying backgrounds, well schooled, nimble-footed, comfortable to ride & watching them work with new entries was impressive. Meals are healthy, made with organic home farmed ingredients and so delicious (looking forward to their cookbook). Accommodations are cozy and comfy and gave room for “me-time” for everyone. All levels of riding are accommodated and the group can be split if everyone doesn’t enjoy cantering through arroyos. Gathering around fireplaces (inside & out) was the final treat of each day with stories and so many laughs. We were treated like family from day one.

Everything was positive. Justyn alway gave me good advice and told me when I was doing something right. When I didn’t want to canter she didn’t make me feel like a loser and Karen was a dream to ride with. Mel was a trooper. She is the “take control” kind of person. And when a situation came up on the trail she took control and got back on track. I would ride anywhere with these ladies.

The whole experience was a mind-blowing adventure. The folks managing the horses, training the horses, and providing the guest with a 5 star ranch experience are also personable, helpful and accommodating, not to mention, great cooks.

Everything was better than I expexted. Super people, place and horses! :)

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious. The rides took in some beautiful scenic views. The horses were beautiful and fun to ride.

The wealth of knowledge and encouragement shared in such kind and respectful manner. Great balance of activities and down time. Consummate professionalism, yet feeling of friendship.

The accommodations, food, atmosphere, horses and overall feel of this trip were wonderful! Mel, Justyn and their staff put their heart and soul into this business. I felt well cared for and relaxed. They are knowledgeable, friendly, open minded and unpretentious. I can’t say enough good things about my stay. The horses are very well tended to, as are all of the animals on the ranch. It’s a great environment. Although I only participated in one yoga class, I really enjoyed it. Justyn is a very good instructor.

The rides were spectacular and everything was arranged really well. Our horses were soooo cute and it was amazing waking up and seeing them first thing every morning.

New Mexico was absolutely gorgeous and unique and Mel and Justyn were wonderful. Me and Isa (from the Netherlands and Italy) had an amazing time! If you love riding and feeling like you're hanging out with your best friends and family, good food and amazing horses, then you should definitely book this holiday.

The horses were great. Easy to change if the horse was not the right fit. The different riding locations were beautiful and a good representation of NM. Two great off the ranch outings. The indian cultural center had a museum, dances representing different tribes and vendors with products such as horse hair pottery.

We were invited into the home of Justyn and Mel for meals. The atmosphere and food was above expectations.

The small group of riders along with Justyn and Mel created a very friendly environment with lots of laughs.
