Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
- Arrive in Beijing and self-transfer to hotel in central Beijing. Rest and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Cultural Exploration
Morning:
- Start your morning at the North Gate of the Temple of Heaven, where you'll enjoy a traditional Chinese breakfast at a local spot just outside the park. Expect simple, comforting dishes that locals have for their everyday mornings-warm, filling, and very down-to-earth.
- After breakfast, enter the Temple of Heaven and begin a guided walk through its expansive grounds. As you stroll past ancient cypress trees and grand imperial architecture, your guide will explain the site's history, its role in imperial rituals, and the symbolism behind its design. Along the way, you’ll see locals gathering for morning activities like singing, stretching, and calligraphy, adding a lively, authentic feel to the experience.
- The tour concludes at the East Gate, where you'll join a relaxing Tai Chi session led by a local master. Learn basic movements, focus on breathing, and enjoy a peaceful moment in one of Beijing's most iconic settings. It's a well-paced half-day experience that blends food, history, and mindfulness—an easy, meaningful way to start the day.

Day 3: Journey to Miyun
- Enjoy a free morning in the city.
- Depart for Miyun around 1pm
- Experience a 3-hour introductory ride in the afternoon in Miyun Ranch
Day 4: To the Bashang Grasslands
- Morning: 3-hour horseback ride in Miyun.
- Afternoon: Transfer to the Bashang Grassland, around 3h by driving.
Day 5 and 6: Full Day Riding
- Two full days dedicated to exploring the vast, breathtaking landscapes of the Bashang Grasslands on horseback. All meals are provided.
Day 7: Departure
- Morning: Enjoy breakfast and visit the Horse Theme Park nearby. Explore the equestrian-themed attractions and performances (ticket included)
- Afternoon: Begin the return journey around 4pm

1. The Gateway: Miyun Riverside Riding
- Located at the edge of the mountains surrounding Beijing, the first location in Miyun is a hidden gem.
- The setting: Ride through tranquil riverside paths and shaded woodlands.
- What makes it special: This area provides a serene, technical terrain that is perfect for getting acquainted with your horse. It's a peaceful "warm-up" where you can enjoy the lush greenery of the valleys before we head to the high plains.
2. The Heart of the Adventure: The Bashang Grasslands
- Next, you travel to the legendary Bashang Grasslands, historically known as the "Emperor's Hunting Grounds." This is the soul of our tour.
- The Vast Steppe: Here, the landscape opens up into endless rolling hills and emerald carpets of grass. It is the ultimate playground for any rider seeking freedom and speed.
- The horse town experience (a local icon): Nestled within this breathtaking grassland is Ma Town (中国马镇), a unique cultural landmark dedicated entirely to equestrian heritage.

- Day 1 and 2: Most meals are left open on these days so you can enjoy the endless culinary variety of downtown Beijing at your own pace.
