Everything was arranged. Donal and Gemma responded quickly with any questions. Our guides were friendly and informed for our rides. Our favorite rides were along the beaches. Enjoyed our lunches at the local villages. Taxi was arranged for pickups to and from the An Caislean in Ballycastle. Our horses were well trained and steady. The guides took a lot of photos and videos of us riding each day. Highly Recommend this trip if you ride horses. The most beautiful way to visit Northern Ireland.

Everyone on the BEI team was very knowledgeable, very helpful, and really nice. ❤️The horses were wonderful!! You could tell that they are all very well taken care of. The scenery on every ride was breathtaking!

Everything was excellent! My two adult daughters and I were very well taken care of. Communication was always clear and timely, and if we had any needs or requests they were met as quickly as possible. The staff were very friendly, fun, and well-qualified. Debbie and Mel led the teams of backup guides (Sarah, Ellie, Alanna, Tara) well. When there was a slight issue with the door getting jammed on the lorry, Donal came right away and resolved it. It was clear the staff liked and respected him and the company as a whole.

The horses were beautiful, well-trained, well-cared for and enjoyed their job. We never felt nervous during our ride. The well-fare and safety of the horses was a priority (water, food, rest, appropriate tack, etc). We loved galloping on the beaches, riding through various terrain (forests, fields, dunes, villages, hills, roads), and also stopping at interesting sites.

The food was great at all our lunch stops. It was also a good chance to get to know everyone (staff and other guests) a bit better.

I was so thankful for the great photos and videos the staff took during our ride and forwarded to us at the end of each day. Debbie went above and beyond by having her partner (an excellent photographer) come and take photos of us galloping on the beach.

We opted to stay in a self-catered house that they provided. It was comfortable and in a great location.

We highly recommend this trip - a lifelong dream fulfilled in a beautiful country.

The whole team was so responsive, caring, and competent! Every detail was taken care of, my horse was lovely and the locations we went to were fantastic.

From start to finish the holiday was extremely well organised but totally relaxing, from the taxi's always being on time, the friendly guest house where nothing was too much trouble. The stables were fantastic from the welcome talk to the time spent assessing the right horses for the riders of which there were plenty to choose. The enthusiastic friendly staff and of course the gorgeous countryside and beaches.

The McKinley Family treated us to an adventure to remember: matched us beautifully to our Mounts; Dexter, Chrissie, and Leo were brilliant - steady, agile, and obediant, looked after us absolutely. The riding environment: home paddocks, beaches (several of outstanding beauty), forest rides, road hacks - cabbing us daily to our rides & back to great accomodation.

The horse was a perfect match to start with. We were a team! Impressive sights, everyday a different part of the coastline. Enjoyed every minute! The instructors were great. (Donal, Debbie and Fergil) Professional and very friendly. I’ve met a lot of really nice people on the way.

The photographer Art Ward made exquisite pictures and video’s. Highly recommended!

Tour guide Seamus showed me around (at the end of the day) and taught me so much about the history of North Ireland. Great fun! What a week!

The only word that describes this trip was AMAZING.

The care and attention that was planned by the McKinley family at Shean’s family farm made a trip of a lifetime a reality.

They made sure you had the exact horse for you and your ability with keeping the safety and care of their beloved Irish sport horses a top priority.

We experienced running on the beautiful beaches of Northern Ireland to exploring several castles and saw many beautiful sites along the way.

I feel like they paid close attention to making sure your dreams came true

and gained friends along the way. I highly recommend this trip to anyone. They make horseback riding dreams come true.

This trip was a dream. Northern Ireland is such a beautiful place. The coastline is only just becoming a tourist destination so it is an absolute treat to visit before it absolutely explodes with tourism.

There are so many different terrains to ride along the coast, wonderful B&B hosts to make friends with, and I cannot say enough good things about the McKinley Family! They are the type of warm, welcoming people that you feel right at home with. I ate more scones that I'd like to admit at their kitchen table, and I certainly have not chatted so much and about such a wide variety of topics with new acquaintances before. They are an incredibly hardworking, fascinating family and I am so happy to have met them!

Apart from the company, the trip is incredibly well thought out. The horses are transported each day (along with riders) to the best trail given the weather for that day. There are several amazing historical landmarks to see in the area (Mussenden Temple, Dunluce Castle) and the trip was planned so that we started early enough on certain days to actually ride through some of these landmarks. It seems that we stopped at just the right time each day to stretch and eat lunch.

If you are an intermediate to advanced rider, you will appreciate how well trained and intelligent the horses are, even the youngsters still in training. I had an absolute blast riding Phillip & Chomp throughout the week.

I had an absolute blast. The horses were very well cared for, the staff were friendly and informative when it came to information about the sites and the areas that we were riding through. The accommodation was brilliant and everything was run very smoothly and efficiently
