The daily riding experience is complemented by morning and evening activities: morning gymnastics, yoga in nature, music, and dance. You will learn to respect the needs of animals and place them above your own, to appreciate the wonders of the natural world, and to step outside your comfort zone. These tours are suitable for both experienced riders and beginners.
Horses
Nomad Mountain Escape's Icelandic horses are born for mountains, rocks, and open spaces. They are extremely reliable: gentle and steady with beginners, yet spirited and fun for experienced riders. All of them offer the unique Icelandic gait, the tölt—a smooth and exceptionally comfortable ride. They are Nomad Mountain Escape's family members, born at their farm and raised by them.

Itinerary:
Arrive in Gyöngyössolymos and receive instructions on riding and caring for horses. Every day, you will ride through the Mátra Mountains area, then return to Alma Tanya for an overnight stay. You will ride through untouched forests, cross creeks, explore beautiful meadows, and climb mountain peaks. This tour is not just a riding adventure—it’s a chance for mental renewal. You’ll reflect on which parts of your life truly matter and which do not.

Nomad Mountain Escape’s small family farm is nestled in the Mátra Mountains, just one hour from Budapest. Surrounded only by nature, mountains, and forests, it offers true peace and seclusion. Yet, if you wish to explore culture, the historic towns of Gyöngyös and Eger—with their centuries-old wine cellars, charming churches, and noble mansions—are also within easy reach.
