Everything was exactly as we expected it to be or better. The horses are well cared for and although, as stated in the advert, not for beginner riders they are well schooled and nice to ride, I even got to ride an Akhal - teke ( very rare) breed of horse! The rides are fun, through beautiful countryside, a different ride each day and you feel well looked after. It is a working stables with endurance horses as well as riding horses. Big thank you to Laura and Ivan for taking great care of us and giving us such a lovely experience in Croatia.
The family are very friendly and helpful, even taking us into Bjelovar one day for a look around. The accommodation is extremely clean and comfortable and the restaurant has good food with lots of choice, a little limited for vegetarians but manageable, and the staff are very helpful. Everything was included except our drinks. We used the transport offer from and to Zagreb and it all worked perfectly. It’s a lovely place, very quiet, and a perfect place to relax with a book when you are not riding.
We had a really lovely time and I would recommend this for anyone who wants to do a relaxed hour and a half to two hours of riding at a time in lovely countryside with friendly people.
