Arena Horse Riding Corfu is run in a professional and conscientious manner with, at the moment, 18 rescued horses.
Katerina had her first contact with horses and riding at the age of four and has worked with horses and riders all over Greece. She is a certified Environmental Equestrian Guide and horse trainer (natural horsemanship), with many years of horse riding experience, participating in equestrian endurance races and qualification for the National Endurance Team of Greece in 2013.

"Exceptional and diverse experience"
Super holiday, each of the 5 days were very different .Starting with trekking through Olive groves to cantering along beaches and through feilds but the highlight was definitely Swimming with the Horses. The change in motion when the horse is transitioning from walking to swimming while you are riding bare back is a unique experience that I will never forget. It was a delight to see Katerina and Iiias who run the stables work with the horses, all of which were originaly rescue but through their natural horsemanship skills, hardwork and passion they have built the Arena Stables into one of the best Equestrian Centres in Greece.
When not riding, there is so much to offer locally as the beach it's only 10 minutes walk from the stables and the accommodation in villa Frangis is right next door . The Villa Is run separately from the arena and even though the accommodation is basic It has a swimming pool and fast broadband. Lunch is provided in a local authentic Greek restaurant and there are other options for an evening meal within walking distance. If you are a beginner or experienced rider and looking for a holiday I would highly recommend this as it ticks all the boxes and even more!!.

"Loved it! A paradise for horse lover"
The owners are very experienced horsepeople. They literally love all their horses. I really liked to see that, as "tourist" horseriding places can be unfriendly for the horses. However, this place was exactly the opposite: the horses are the first priority and well looked after.
The owners are also really nice and they really did their upmost best to make a special program for me. I for example really liked to learn more about natural horsemanship and Katarina taught me every morning about this. Being back at home home, I can do this myself now, because of what I have learned from Katarina in only one week time! She is really a "horse woman" and you can learn a lot from her. Even while I am at home, she still helps me applying the natural horsemanship lessons with my own horse. I also liked the ridings: I am an experienced rider and they took me out for some nice advanced ridings!
I also really loved the apartment I was staying in: the hosts were supernice and it was a beautiful, quiet place!
So: if you would like to go to a very horsefriendly place in Greece where you also learn a lot about horses, don't hesitate and go!

"Amazing little getaway"
Katerina and Ellias were fabulous hosts, I did not have to worry about a single thing from pick up/drop off to all arrangements for lunch and dinner, including all the riding was carefully planned to suit my needs.
Katerina and Ellias were really friendly and down to earth, I felt really comfortable and like I met my long lost friends. Really good variety of horses to choose from, all of them are very well looked after and very obedient. There are options from beginners to advanced riders.
The hacks in itself were different each day and I got to see many parts of Corfu. Highest mountain in Corfu to gallop along the beach. Swimming with the horses was out of this world experience and I would recommend everyone to do it!
Beautiful beach with clear water is 10 minutes away so you can enjoy some sunshine after all the riding.
I've been on few riding holidays now, and this is the one that I will truly miss the most.
