Cabalgatas Valiceras

This was an unforgettable adventure that included a full moon gallop along the beach, a long ride to a shallow lagoon where we observed flamingos, spoonbills, and rare black neck swans, riding bareback through sand dunes, and swimming across a deep river with our horses. The horses are responsive, well trained, and in splendid health. The accommodations, in recently constructed Cobb houses, are first rate: comfortable, beautiful, and located on the edge of a wetland filled with birds and birdsong. The food, prepared by Mauro’s wife Laura, is delicious, healthy, and makes you feel like home. Finally, Mauro, the owner and guide, could not be any nicer, or more skilled in making every riding day special. His attention to detail is as remarkable as his love for his horses.
