Centre Équestre le Marina offers a family holiday formula all year round! The focus of this program is outdoor activities, trails, and hacking out in the forest or on the beach. This formula can be half-board or breakfast only, to give you the opportunity to visit Mimizan Beach and its surroundings; to test some nice seafood restaurants, typical French cuisine, or to have lunch on the beach while enjoying the sunny weather.

Equestrian center’s guesthouse with “Chambres d’Hôtes”, swimming pool, and sauna (From Sunday to Sunday)
Situated two minutes by foot from the equestrian center and eight minutes by car from the beach, they offer:
- 1 guesthouse with four “Chambre d’hôtes" in front of the swimming pool offering single, double, twin, and a family suite with two bedrooms
- 1 wooden cottage dormitory with two bathrooms for six people beside the swimming pool
- 1 annex with three "Chambres d’hôtes" for one to four people
- 1 sauna and 1 massage room
Every single bedroom has its own private bathroom.

Situated at the equestrian center with three bedrooms for one to five people, one bathroom, a huge kitchen and living room, a private terrace, and a closed garden! Dogs are admitted!
Two-star hotel in Mimizan Beach at the seafront (From Sunday to Sunday)
For shorter stays of a minimum of three nights. Accommodation in a hotel is possible only if there is no place left in the equestrian center’s guest house. Please note that the price stays the same and the two-star hotel includes breakfast and an additional half-board is possible.
Program
During this holiday, riders of all levels will get a personal card of 6 or 8 sessions of 2-hour rides. You can also use your card for riding on a half-day tour of 4 hours (2 sessions of 2 hours) or one full day of trail including lunch (3 sessions of 2 hours). Beginners or novice riders may get a beginner or improving course given in the arena and in the forest.
Intermediate to advanced riders may have rides for 2 hours, half-day, or full-day on trail, forest, and beach. For full-day riding, comfortable and real lunches are provided by the equestrian center with shelter, table, and chairs. A real meal is a buffet with French aperitif and appetizer, different kinds of salads, chicken or meat and veggies, French cheeses, dessert, and Bordeaux red wine, soda, coffee, or tea. Vegetarian or vegan meals are also provided.
- Briefing time: Sunday evening or Monday morning after breakfast.
- Groups of different levels are organized.
Horse accommodation
If riders want to come with their horses, the equestrian center provides paddocks including food from mid-season (20 EUR) to high season (27 EUR) for 24 hours.

Meals are provided by the equestrian center in the guesthouse or on the day trek. Half board is included in the price! Full board is also possible but stays as an option! People may decide on the place. If you do not want full board but only a few more meals, you are asked to warn the cook eight hours in advance. The center offers traditional food as a set menu including1/4 of wine or soda, tea, or coffee. They offer special meals for vegetarians and gluten-free, but not vegan. The dinner on the arrival day is included.

Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport

Arrival by shuttle
There is a shuttle from the airport to the railway station in Bordeaux (13 EUR - 45 minutes). Then the client can find a train to Labouheyre (19 EUR - 50 minutes) and then an RDTL Bus from Labouheyre to Mimizan (11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.) all-year-round (3 EUR -40 minutes). Please arrive after 6:30 p.m. The riding school organises also a transfer from and to the airport every Sunday from two to 12 riders.
Arrival by train
The Bordeaux Morcenx train is always empty, if you are traveling alone, please wait the last minute to buy this train ticket at the railway station, to give the school time to find the opportunity to pick you up at Bordeaux if it’s possible.
Arrival by bus
As people are arriving from various destinations in Europe, the pick-up starts at 4 p.m. and the minibus leaves Bordeaux according to the timing of the last customer’s arrival. They drop people on the Sunday morning departure day according to the flight departure time of the first client.
Please plan the arrival time in Bordeaux at 4 p.m. or before, as much as possible, and plan the flight departure time from Bordeaux not before 12:30 p.m. or after. There is a two-hour drive between Mimizan and Bordeaux, departure at Mimizan at 8:30 a.m. means arrival at the airport at 11:30 for a flight of 1 p.m. (if check-in is 1:30 p.m. before!).
The costs for the transfer are 45 EUR for each way and 90 EUR for return trips per person. It also includes the transfer during the week to Mimizan Beach on Monday and Saturday. If the school gathers more than eight clients on the same transfer, they provide two mini-buses for the transfer. The price stays fixed.

Directions from Morcenx
The riding school also organizes a transfer from Morcenx every Monday for one or more people.

Caution: In case of transfers after 9 p.m., the price is multiplied by two!
Cancellation Policy
- A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
- The rest of the payment should be paid 21 days before arrival.
