Program
Immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of the ancient Romans and Thracians in the Bulgarian lands, the Renaissance town of Koprivshtitsa, modern spa centers, a winery, and traditional cuisine, all served by courteous hosts.
Daily itinerary
Day 1: Sofia - Hissarya
Transfer from Sofia and check in at the Spa Hotel in Hisarya. Ezdul will take you to the base and meet the horses. You will then take a stroll around the town.
Day 2: Hisarya - Krasnovo
You will leave from the horse-rising base, and through hilly terrain, you will pass by Papaz Dere Dam and Belesis Dam. You will then cross the village of Panicheri. You will ride through fields and orchards and reach the Aqua Thermae spa complex, where your first night is.
Day 3: Krasnovo - Strelcha (at the foot of the mountain)
You will ride in meadows and oak forests suitable for long gallops. You will pass by the village of Krustević. You will then have a picnic in a forest shelter. Through rose groves and lavender, you will reach the town of Strelcha. Here, you will stay overnight in the spa complex Sredna Gora.
Day 4: Strelcha - Koprivshtitsa
You will start your ride from Strelcha along the western ridge and reach the peak of Bunai. You will have the chance to enjoy amazing views and descend through forests and past potato fields, leading to the town museum Koprivshtitsa.
Day 5: Koprivshtitsa - Starosel
You will ride along the Topolnitsa River, cross the old Roman bridge Kinera, and climb Peak Wolf (1,243 meters). You will then have lunch at Buntovna Hut and enjoy the fantastic view. Then, you will reach the Roman sanctuary Raven's Stone and go down to the spa Starosel complex through forest, beech, pine, and oak roads.
Day 6: Starosel - Shato Kopsa
You will ride to Kozi Gramadi peak, then cross the Sredna Gora and descend to the Karlovo field, conveniently situated between the Sredna Gora and the Stara Planina. You will then cross the Stryama River and reach Chateau Copsa.
Day 7: Chateau Copsa - Hisarya
On your last day, you will cross the Sredna Gora again via the Clement Dam and Karasevria Peak. You will then gallop through beautiful fields and reach the town of Hisarya.
Day 8: Hisarya - Sofia Airport
Departure.
