Food

At the heart of the Mongolian diet lies a love for meat and dairy, a legacy of their nomadic past. Mutton reigns supreme, often roasted or boiled whole over open fires, infusing the meat with smoky depth. The food is prepared in stews, dumplings, and grilled skewers. Dairy, sourced from yaks, sheep, and camels, features prominently in yogurt, kefir, and cheeses, providing essential nutrients and a tangy counterpoint to savory dishes.
