My daughter & I did a three day ride & had a wonderful & memorable experience. There was a lot of trotting & galloping in the beautiful forested tracks. Good equipment & horses. Easy accessibility by train from Paris. Good communication with host. Overall, just a positive & worthwhile trip! If we come through Paris again & have a few days I would come out to even just a morning ride.

Horses were very well trained and as total beginners myself and my son were given very good natured horses, excellent guides Maline and Louise who spoke good English and helped us throughout with instruction. They constantly checked we were comfortable and helped build our confidence, riding techniques and skills. The accommodation was first class and food super, the pool, and sauna were great and the surrounding setting and rides through the forest of Halettes were unforgettable.

I cannot thank Alizee and her lovely team enough, they were so incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I had a wonderful time at their stables, the horses are very safe but still athletic and fit. The surrounding forests where we rode were beautiful and picturesque and the riding was a lovely mix of speeds. I rode every day with Milene, who was a wonderfully kind and talented horsewoman. Her English was also completely fluent, which I was grateful for, given my limited French.

The accommodation itself was delightful and from my bed I could see and hear the horses which was an absolute dream. It’s a very calm place and the dogs (especially vignette!) were a welcome addition to my stay.

I did not have a car, but found that getting to the stables from Paris was incredibly straight forward, and they were able to assist me with having dinner delivered every evening to the accommodation.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and cannot recommend this place enough!

Lovely location, right next to the forest for some beautiful rides, and also close to some lovely towns for evening meals and other visits. Great accommodation; spacious and light, with a communal kitchen to either bring your own food or enjoy the delicious food they can provide. The horses are very well cared for

The charming, well-cared-for Arabian horses were a joy to ride. I will miss Taj! My guide, Méline, was so sweet and spoke very good English. I felt safe in her capable hands. The routes were beautiful, the accommodation was spacious and clean, and the swimming pool was the cherry on the top! Would definitely recommend :)

Not just a riding experience but a holistic engagement with the horses with the opportunity for grooming and tacking up

The forests are wonderful and well maintained by the state.

We had the breakfast and lunch option. I have never had a bad meal in france and this was no exception

There is a fully stocked kitchen and a supermarket very close so evening meals were no problem

We had three trips included which were well thought out

Our host was very knowledgeable and passionate of the local area

Excellent experience all round. The horses are lovely and full of fun, trained for endurance so can do long long canters and gallops. The forest is beautiful and enormous! We chose to ride twice each day and were out for 2+ hours each time, and every ride was different. The weather can be mixed but still warm, we had one ride in the rain but mostly sheltered by the forest and the sound of the rain was quite magical. We also had the chance to ride different horses. We loved that we could fetch our horses from the field and groom them before the ride, spending time bonding with them, and taking them back to the field after (this optional, they will do this for you if you prefer). Everyone is super friendly and helpful, and very good English spoken by most staff - we don’t speak French so thought we might need to rely on Google translate but didn’t need it.

The accommodation is lovely, very comfortable and very clean, a nice big kitchen and lounge and nice to speak to other guests. Pool and sauna a bonus!

Thank you for being so flexible with our itinerary and all the additional arrangements - because we flew to France and did not have a car, we could not shop to self cater. Alizee kindly arranged pick up from the airport and for a local restaurant to deliver our evening meal (just needed heated) for a very reasonable price. All food was high quality, tasty and plentiful!

This beautiful location on the edge of the Halatte forest allows you hours of unique trails winding through glades where the forest floor is a carpet of bluebells. Bird song and the hum of insects follow you as you walk, trot and canter the winding trails. The horses are wonderful in nature, responsive and strong.

The scenery , location and food were excellent .I enjoyed the rides through the forest . The horses were very forward going and well looked after .

Welcoming and relaxed hosts. Riding was set amongst forest trails and varied rides out on different horses. Fantastic 2 days spent here and would love to return.

We really enjoyed these 4 days where we learned how to horse ride and went on multiple riding trips. Floriane was a great and patient instructor, the horses were very sweet and well trained and we felt very confident on them for being absolute beginners.

The accommodation was also great and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Alizee and Chris were really great hosts. The room was great (when you love horses - that view!), the homecooked food lovely and the horses and the rides were both relaxing and exciting! We will be back! / Ann & Jennifer Sweden
