General Information About the Guest House
The guest house can accommodate up to 15 guests and is located on the equestrian property, surrounded by a beautiful forest. The place offers you a relaxing private room and shared areas to enjoy friendly moments.
Your hosts will provide you with a simple breakfast (croissants, chocolate croissants, bread, etc.) and lunch, both included in your stay. You can enjoy these meals in the guest house kitchen. For other meals, the fully equipped kitchen is available for you to prepare your own food if you wish. Additionally, there are many good restaurants nearby that offer food delivery to the guest house.
Three of the bedrooms have the option for separate beds: "La Marine" with two single beds, "La Céladon" with a two-person convertible sofa, and "La Margot" with a one-person convertible sofa. All rooms feature private bathrooms.
Guests also have access to an indoor heated swimming pool, a sauna, a small gym (open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.), and a terrace where you can unwind after a day of riding.

While exploring the forest, you will also have the opportunity to visit several nearby castles*, depending on your riding level, there’s even a chance to reach the famous Château de Chantilly on weekends, making your experience truly exceptional.

You will usually start the day at 09:15, beginning with a cup of coffee before preparing the horses together. Over the course of your stay, you will have two options for your daily trail rides:
- Full-day trail ride: Spend four to six hours riding, with a small lunch break in the middle of the ride. This option allows you to fully immerse yourself in the surrounding nature.
- Split-day ride: Begin with a morning ride lasting two to two and a half hours, then return to the stable for a substantial lunch and a rest. In the afternoon, you’ll head out again for another two to two and a half hours of riding.
You will typically finish the day around 18:00, ending with a refreshing drink together with the group. The daily itinerary varies, as Écuries ALF offers a range of trails in the forest. Depending on the day’s ride, the trails could include:
- Chantilly Castle area and the race tracks in the forest(40 kilometers)*
- Mont Pagnotte in the Forest of Halatte (small mountain, 30 kilometers)**
- Abbaye Royale du Moncel (35 kilometers)**
- Raray Castle(35 kilometers)**
- Verneuil-en-Halatte Village(30 kilometers)**

Please note, for your stay:
- The accommodation is for three nights, with check-in at 17:00 on the first day, and check-out will be 12:00 on the last day.
Skill level
There is no specific skill level required for most of the activities, as ALF personalizes the experience based on each customer's abilities. They welcome riders from beginner to advanced levels. However, please note that visiting certain castles may require an advanced riding level. They will adapt the rides and select the appropriate horses to suit your skill level and the activities planned.

- Full-day rides are optional and must be requested by the customer in advance.
- Rides to Chantilly Castle are only available on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), as the horse tracks in the Chantilly forest are closed to the public on weekdays until 14:00. Advanced riding level is required
