About the tour

Guided by the wisdom of horses, you will explore pristine landscapes, discover hidden trails, and reconnect with your inner self in a way you never imagined. This is more than an adventure, it is a chance to grow, reflect, and embrace the harmony of nature and spirit. Healing on horseback is coming in 2025 to the mountains of Nepal. Over 3000 meters above the sea, you will be taking in the achingly beautiful vistas from the back of a beautiful horse. This is no ordinary riding trek. This is a fortnight of transformation and healing.

You will deeply connect with the horses you ride, using the acclaimed meditate with horses technique and other fascinating workshops. You will live wild and roam free. You will be touring the mountains for the full two weeks, camping on the tops, and eating around a campfire with daily yoga and meditation with a local meditation master. You will be cooking and sleeping under the stars, singing, dancing, healing, and transforming. A bucket-list adventure that will create wellness, healing, and memories to last a lifetime.

  • Route: Kathmandu - Pokhara - Beni - Takam - Moreni - Jalala Pass - Dhorpatan - Bobang - Burtibang - Pokhara - Kathmandu

You will rise to a height of 3400 meters and see the majestic panorama of the snowy ranges of the Himalayas at a height of 8000. You will take a new route through the forests and meadows of the Dhorpatan Nature Reserve. You will find yourself in places where mass tourism has not yet reached, the locals sincerely welcome guests, and the traditions are alive. You will touch the culture of the Tibeto-Burman people and feel the strength of the spirit of the mountain people.

Daily workshops including yoga, meditation, horse connection, and self-development are aimed at transforming your inner world and making this a unique and blissful horse riding experience. Each of the trips is an expedition, an immersion in culture and collection of material for a large-scale international film project. You will gather as a team of like-minded people who share the values.

This path is for those who are ready to deeply connect with horses and test themselves in hiking conditions, to be alone with nature, leaving the bustle of the city. For those who are ready to give up comfort for the sake of meeting eternity. For travelers who are looking for a path less trodden and to deeply rewild. This tour is for who:

  • Who dreams of seeing and feeling the grandeur of the 8000th peaks of the Himalayas
  • Who wants to improve their physical shape and strengthen their spirit
  • Who is interested in immersion in the true Nepalese culture (and not the ostentatious commercial one)
  • Photographers who are looking for unique photography, there are still a few untrodden places
  • Who wants to reboot - gain clarity of thoughts and brightness of sensations
  • Who is looking for their own path or is already walking along it and is glad to meet like-minded people, create a beautiful community that will last a lifetime

These secluded areas with majestic scenery were once the site of guerrilla warfare against the local king (until 2006). Since then, life has returned to normal, the revolutionaries returned to the concerns of farmers, and the area began to actively develop. Five years ago, a new trekking route was opened here - “Partisan Path” (“Gorilla trek”). It is little known to tourists, and those places still preserve the spirit of true Nepal.

  • Majestic views of 8,000-meter Himalayan peaks
  • Traditional villages untouched by mass tourism
  • Ancient Tibeto-Burman culture
  • Rare wildlife in the Dhorpatan reserve
  • Daily yoga and meditation practices
  • Deep horse connection workshops
  • Perfect for spiritual seekers, adventure enthusiasts, and photographers looking to explore both the outer landscape and their inner world

What awaits you on the expedition?

This trekking expedition begins in the Beni Myagdi area, passing through Baglung and Tatopani (Hot Water), a village famous for its healing hot springs. This place is part of the famous Annapurna Circuit. From there, you will turn off the crowded route and delve deeper into the wild valleys of Rukum and Rolpa. You will pass through serene villages, steep terrain, and breathtaking valleys, through gorges lined with dense rhododendron forests. You will climb Mount Jaljala (3414 meters) - the top of your trek. From there, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Dhaulagiri ridge (8167 meters).

You will stop at the traditional village of Takam and lower Lamsung Moreni. Here, you will interview locals who are willing to share their wisdom and values. In the area of the famous Dhorpatan hunting reserve, you will plunge into the world of wildlife and meet rare wild animals - blue sheep, tahr (mountain goats), barking deer, wild boar, and pheasant. In Dhorpatan, you will be hosted by a Nepalese family. At the local school, children will listen with great interest to their stories about the world. Traveling requires physical preparation.
