I was riding with Kapadokya ranch for one week in October and I really enjoyed my trip. Not only is Cappadocia a fantastic place to ride but also the trail was well thought out and horses well trained for the trail. Seeing Cappadocia from horseback was great as you saw so many more things riding inside canyons and with a fantastic view from top of mountains than you would do by car or bus. Nico, our guide also took us places outside the touristic areas. I would recommend this ranch for adventurous riders, who enjoys time in the saddle, with fast riding as well as walking your horse up and down step parts, and at the same time gorgeous views over a fairytale landscape. I’ve done lots of trail rides by horse and this is one of my favourite ones! The horses really are amazing here. And don’t forget to check out the most amazing tack room in the world at the ranch :) Thanks Nico and Helene for a trip of a lifetime Sending cuddles to brave little Tootsie!

We did the 6 day Sportive tour which was fabulous! The horses were lovely, well kept, fit for the job with nice fitting tack. We rode on average between 5-6 hours over some pretty tricky terrain but the reward was the incredible views of the rock formations. We also had plenty of long canters which were great fun. We stayed in guesthouses and cave hotels which were all great. Although if you are vegetarian, you may find the food a bit basic in some of the hotels. During the week we also got the opportunity to do a hot air balloon ride which was an absolutely magical experience and one not to be missed! We also visited the open air museum, which was interesting but you see much better sites on the trails. All in all, I had a fabulous week and would highly recommend Kapadokya Ranch with guides Nico and Helene who are both a pleasure to spend time with.

Amazing and very fit horses, combined with unique and breaktaking scenery every day, authentic guest houses and yummy food - it was a trip of a lifetime!
